Coursebooks for English language teaching usually provide an abundance of additional resources, such as practice exercises, photocopiable tasks and video and online material. This can be overwhelming, particularly if teachers have to deliver a coherent teaching programme within a set time framework. This session focuses on planning a longer sequence of lessons as a way of managing course book materials and resources. It outlines a methodology for this kind of planning and give practical examples of how this can be done, referring to Empower Second Edition.
