Thanks for making podcast on this bold topic. Biggest problem is our society who consider mental health issue as taboo. And if someone is going through depression or other issue is considered as “insane” and people make fun of someone who is already suffering.

For those saying he proved masturbation halal. he proved nothing. Allah ta'ala never allowed anyone to state something halal or Haram other than himself alone. There are many things Allah ta'ala didn't tell us directly due to haya or whatever reason Allah SWT knows but he gave us signs regarding issues. Before saying if it is halal or Haram kindly read the following Quranic Verses and sahih Hadees and then in the end ask yourself if you think it's permissible or not. May Allah forgive us all and protect us from misguiding others. Ameen. According to Quran:- “And they who guard their private parts. Except from their wives or those their right hands possess, for indeed, they will not be blamed. But whoever seeks beyond that, then those are the transgressors.” [Surah Al-Mu’minun: 5-7] In another verse:- "Do not even approach fornication for it is an outrageous act, and an evil way." -Qur'an (17:32) “And do not come near to adultery”. This commandment is meant both for individuals and society as a whole. It warns each individual not only to guard against adultery or fornication itself but against all those things that lead to or stimulate it. According to Sahih Hadees:- Abdullah ibn Mas’ud reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “O young men, if you are able to support a wife, get married. Verily, it lowers the gaze and guards chastity. Whoever is not able to do so, he must fast as it will restrain his passions.” Source: Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī 1806, Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 1400 Ab aisa hai k Allah ta'ala nay kisi ko bhi ijazat ni di hui k koi Apne aapsay cheezo ko halal ya Haram qarar de lekin uper di gyi aur najaanay kitni ahaadees aur suratein hongi Jo mene idhr nahi likhi jinme is aur is jaisi aur napaak kaam say dur rehne ka hukam diya hoga Allah ta'ala nay. Aur yaad rahay kayi baatein Allah ta'ala nay directly ni batayi balke masaayil ki trf ishara kar k btaya hai jinme aqal mando k Liye hidayat hai. That's why I request everyone to stop deceiving yourself and open your eyes, truth may hurt you but truth is truth. Also Islam is a very pure religion which teaches us to stay clean and chaste so kindly refrain from such type of disgusting acts. May Allah ta'ala forgive me if I made any mistake and allow me to correct it and guide us all. Ameen. If I caused any mistake or spread misguidance kindly correct me ❤️

MashaAllah you have shared the full details of the core of info, what doesn’t even step into supporting this wrong concept in support of safe self pleasure gaining processing, which you can not achieve without imagination of Bad thoughts alone. This argument is raised from Dr Zakir’s one speech which later he clarified that Ijmaa of Ulama has proven it a Haram act. Dr Sahab must be shared this knowledge, it becomes responsibility other wise he must have shared these liberal thoughts in many places and talks, mis guiding youth who is already on the verge of collapsing, into pits of darkness. Junaid bhai our Eiman and subconscious that is gifted by Allah pak always has corrected us. At least do share this info with Dr Sahab. Allah may spread all good knowledge through you… we never know Allah has what plans for people of wisdom and MashaAllah your one indeed, much love n duas ❤ Eid Mubarak

There is a vast difference between masturbation and sexual intercourse as pornography has severe impacts upon your neurons as watching things and fantasising it leads to crash drops in dopamine and oxytocin while sexual intercourse tends to intimidate better response than masturbation as things are real and interactive. Pornography certainly leads to disturbance in neurons

Although from childhood I grew as a bright student but became more and more average untill Olevels (now) He never asked me about percentage or marks. He just say pass karo or achi degree karo 🤣 and Education is extremely important and a toolkit for future. Though he is strict about Namaz alhamdullilah.

Glad someone had a detailed session on these less talked topics. But he didn't talk about exercise, diet, lifestyle, and being with nature(ie animals and plants) Also self therapy; trying to understand yourself, thought patterns, habits and their effects etc Of course promoting his hospital was also necessary 😅. But I'm talking from experience, making your lifestyle and surroundings better helps much as long as it is not a severe psychological disorder. But it takes alot longer than going to a professional therapist

At an early age bachun ko neurodevelopmental disorders hotay hain e.g. autism, adhd etc. Unfortunately we have no awareness of these. I agree with dr sahab, its a disorder when daily life function is affected. How do we tackle mental illness in people who can't afford private treatment facilities? Do we have mental health hospitals for aaaaam awaam where they can get evidence based treatment without being humiliated. I hope, pray and dream that we will have mental health facilities similar to SIUT in sha allah
@sonisunder Жыл бұрын
This will happen when we make facilities available through our masjids. When our imam masjids are not just qaris but actually educated people... In Bahrain...masjids have imams that have to have a profession other than being an imam...our local masjid has an imam who is a family judge and deals with marriage counseling. Neighbourhood masjid has an imam that is child specialist...elsewhere masjid has an imam that is a certified therapist for kids on spectrum...autism and such. They can not be an imam if they can not offer their services in professional field to the neighbourhood

Seriously disagree with the masturbation section. Sahih bukhari hadith 5066, the prophet advises his companions who cannot afford to marry to fast, in order to reduce sexual urge. If masturbation was allowed the prophet would've told so, but he told the companions to fast and REMAIN CHASTE until they cannot afford marriage. This is a clear trap of shaitan, making you think something isn't haram.

Abu Huraira reported God's messenger as saying, “God has decreed for man his portion of fornication which he will inevitably commit. The fornication of the eye consists in looking, and of the tongue in speech. The soul wishes and desires, and the private parts accord with that or reject it.” (Bukhari and Muslim.) In a version by Muslim he said, “Man’s share of fornication which he will inevitably commit is decreed for him. The fornication of the eyes consists in looking, of the ears in hearing, of the tongue in speech, of the hand in violence, and of the foot in walking. The heart lusts and wishes, and the private parts accord with that or reject it.” (mishkat 86)

Respected Junaid sir, I disagree with your guest views on maturbation first of all he is a psychiatrist which means he has no right as well he has no knowledge regarding religious ruling on it, furthermore he is quoting Dr zakir naik, and Dr in his video told that most of all scholars consider it haram and Dr himself was guided by ulema on this issue that he wasn't considering it's consequences and disaster, even medical records and observations proved that this addiction is far more defective and harming than many other substance addiction. With due respect I request you to please delete that part from your podcast, else you may not know how many people will get into it, as you're an influencer it's your job to not let youth get in this disaster. Please consider my request or it will increase your sins as well since you were responsible of publishing it if even one individual start practicing it after watching your podcast

You should also ask him about the impacts of porn addiction and the other harms of masturbation, including the uncontrollable desire for instant gratification and how it can affect the life of a youngster who started masturbating in his teens and when he gets married he prefers masturbation over trying to please their partner, which eventually leads to a bad marriage. This simple statement that it is not haram can impact thousands of lives. This addiction is very very toxic and it can destroy your life.
