I’ve been on the list twice for meteorite dials from a well known brand. Maybe this is the more realistic scratch for that obsessive itch!

My God!!! Your video really hit on me. The best “Ad like” review of all times… I used a 2016 Bulova Lunar Pilot during my commercial Pilot Training and I created a strong bond to it. Simply the perfect watch to fly. Now I just want to add one of those 5000 pieces to my watch collection. Thanks for this beautiful narrative.

Sharp watch. If that red between the 2:00 and 3:00 indices and elsewhere is rust, then the meteorite dial (likely a Gibeon or Muonionalusta) is not stabilized and will rust further. Hopefully, for the future owner, it's a trace silicate.

Bulova would have sent shock waves in the watch industry if they made their Lunar Pilot meteorite with an automatic movement as worn by NASA astronaut Dave Scott. Note, Bulova also has a lot of history with NASA leaving their own quartz movement time measuring instruments on the surface of the moon.
