I don't have my own authority. The insurance depends on lots of factors company record, state, drivers record etc. So there is no definitive answer but you need Physical Coverage insurance for truck and trailer as well as insurance for the Cargo you gonna haul

Brother thanks for sharing your personal income information which is hard to find. It would give a pretty good idea to other guys who are thinking to join trucking if you share your annual income even briefly like annual gross revenue minus gross annual expenses= take away home money; say last two years). My second question to you: Is it possible for an owner operator to find his own loads. Like when you are stopped at a truck stop, using your laptop, can an owner operator find his own loads himself.

Ya these days more and more owner operators are booking their own loads. New broker and load board apps on the phone make their jobs pretty straight forward so its not hard to do your own dispatch as long as you understand the different lane Rates and are able to negotiate prices with the broker.

You grew up in Delhi I grew up in Calcutta. We are city boys and we think a little differently than people who grow up in Punjab. You driving a truck now and you think this is what you gonna be doing and you like it but as you go down the road you gonna realise that trucking is not for you. So I would suggest that you find what your ultimate job is As soon as possible this way you don't get there late. I'm am talking from 30 years of experience living in New York City. I am pretty good in judging a character. You will probably ignore me now but will remember this comment later. You are in trucking because the people around you do the same. FIND YOURSELF.

No sir I never ignore any comments from my viewers. You are not the 1st one to tell me that I should try something else instead of trucking. But trucking gives me a sense of freedom that I am in control and I made up my mind long time ago that I am not gonna work for someone else in my life or atleast anytime in near future. And I am already doing something on the side which for me has been just as fruitful as my compensation from trucking so money or future uncertainty is not a problem as of right now. Always been a geography nerd so trucking gives me opportunity to see places that I ve only seen on maps.
