My OEM lanewatch camera works as before - mostly. It works with the turn signal but not with the stalk button. The rear camera turns on in reverse about 90 percent of the time which is strange. Work around is to hold down the back button to swap back to the normal Hondalink screens when needed.

Jonathan Garcia most of the issues are making room for the cables, harnesses and device. The shortness of the cables really give you only the option of sitting the device on top of the head unit. Completely plug and play otherwise. Note that the device comes without firmware installed so you have to set it up on your computer first.

There's an HDMI port on the NavTool that you can plug any HDMI compatible device into. I hooked up an HDMI cable in case I might want to plug in a video streamer or even my laptop sometime.

I put mine on the top of the steering wheel column. Seems to work okay there.

@@JacobBiesinger Sadly, no. Even in AA mode you have to jog right on the dial to invoke the assistant.

Horrible. We purchased a navtool CarPlay and they were awful and not helpful with install. It didn’t come with manual and had missing piece.

Also curious about the rear/side view cameras. Do they continue to work automatically when you're using CarPlay or Android Auto?

They do. Mostly. The rear camera occasionally doesn't come on in reverse so I have to manually switch back to Honda mode by holding the back button for a second. The lane watch camera works with the turn signal automatically but you can't use the stalk switch in carplay mode.

Scott Hampshire yes. I just replaced the OEM USB socket with a dual USB socket this weekend. The left is car play and the right is the original Honda USB port.

@@BillBrownerator how many amps are coming through those ports? The original Honda one seems to provide only one, meaning phones connected to it are in slow charge mode. ☹️

@@JacobBiesinger Well, the the right port is still the Honda port, so still 1A. I don't think that the NavTool USB port is fast charging either, tho. I actually have a separate 12V 4 port USB charger that I charge phones with. Yes, it can be a cable swapping nightmare sometimes.

Navtool company is a SCAM This company is a SCAM, I bought two modules to mirror my phone from them and got one when asking them for it they reply we combine the two. No instructions(looked used), took it to one of the best places in LA for installation, when they try to update the software my car was not in the drop list. We try calling them for an hour, no one answer we also try the chat nothing. I had to go home and emailed them, they told me use the Chevy to update your Cadillac. Next day I went back and they install it. We needed to call them cause it didn't work after 45 min someone with an angry voice answer (I think this "company" is a one man operation). He said find smart view on your phone I told him okay I found it as soon I said that he hung up. Anyway it messed up my entertainment system beside I had to pay 200$ to those guys which felt sorry for me (it should be way more consider the amount of time they spent). When I asked to return it, this guy was nasty and said you can dispute but you going to lose. WATCH HOW THEY WILL DISCLOSED YOUR PRIVATE INFORMATION.
