It's 2009 on a Friday afternoon doing my 12th grade at mutanda secondary school and we have gone to a nearby village called kandakanda to by some local beverage (munkoyo). These songs are playing as we are drinking the local beer with my friends. Little did i know that we were creating golden memories. Fast forward, its 04/12/2023 and i meet a patient who only understands kaonde. I start talking to her and everyone gets surprised. After getting done with my round I get back to my car just so I can listen to these songs. kaonde people are friendly and welcoming. Thank you so much for the hospitality you gave me. I really miss my high school days ..
