If you plan to go overseas, your AMEX will likely be a paperweight. Visa is accepted in more places, that is definitely a factor.

NFCU Flagship perk I wasn’t aware of- It counts parking as travel so you get 3x points. That was unexpected!

Thanks for your videos bro! I messed up and applied for the flagship card yesterday and got denied because my credit was fair. Do you think I should call customer service for reconsideration for that card? Or maybe another one? Or should I just take the L and wait until my credit score is higher in a couple of months?

@Ash-so7uh I like the card, but AX has better rewards. I've used some AX pts via the travel portal - good stuff. Flagship is just ok. The annual fee is no big deal, but to be honest, I don't use it much. Flagship CC needs to be revamped. The cash rewards/green card would fare better. Hope this helps.

I use the cash rewards and more rewards. I hear you on the possibility they don't accept American Express. I got rid of this card a few years ago, because some places didnt accept it and sometimes I wasn't getting the points I wanted... Walmart isn't a supermarket lol what!? Definitely, do your research on what stores will give you the 3% it will make it so much easier

I have both just got flagship at 25k limit but if it doesn’t make sense for me to keep it after a year after using it , I’ll def be product changing it to cash rewards and getting 1.75% since I have checking with them.

Love your Chanel and advice I got the Flagship card with a low limit my 1st card with NFCU I’ve been having for about 3 months Id been trying for the American Express card getting denials I watched and Taking your advice I changed my checking account to Flagship checking It worked ! With a limit of 25k How can I get my Flagship increased?

My credit utilization is hurting me. My on time is in the green but my utilization is in the red. I’m working to bring down that debt to 30% utilization. It should not take long because I’m only at 5k of debt. Road to 750 credit score! Thanks for all the advice Ish!

Both are very important cause they make up over half your credit health at 65% Payment hist= 35% Utilization = 30%
