I edited these videos to add a personal opinion disclaimer and blur out the uniform. Technically, it's advised to not deliver personal opinions in uniform, and I had an anonymous complaint lodged against me. Can i lift weights during ODS? During bootcamp, I know I couldn't. But since ODS seems to allow for freedom, I'm hoping that there is a way to get access to a barbell?

There is a base gym with weights, but your access to it will be limited. It is outside of the boundaries of "training country", so you will only be able to access it during your limited free time. Weekends 2-4 you should be able to access it, and at some point you'll be able to access it during the evening hours after chow, but your class team will have to authorize this, and the buddy system will always be in effect. I'd guess Weeks 3-5 for this, but every class is different.

you are able to use your phone from week 1?? or are you referring to week 9. I need to view emails while i go to ocs but i am hearing i wont be able to view personal emails.

You're thinking of OCS. My videos are a review of ODS. It's a different commissioning pipeline. Both programs train in Newport, RI, but ODS is much shorter and largely trains staff corps officers who already have their commissions.
