So now, a question: are no countries at this point bound by international law? If not, let's throw the entire rule and 'law' out internationally and stop complaining when cities are attacked and civilians are targeted. Because Hamas, Hezbollah, Iran, Russia and plenty of others strike directly into cities at civilians. These were 200 rockets fired indiscriminately into Israel by Iran, also targeting citizens. Hamas launched about 20,000 rockets into Israel since the early 2000's, in violation of the "international law" regarding targeting civilians even during war time. If we're not enforcing that as an international community and *doing* something about it - then don't complain when Israel or the US strikes back. If we're no longer attacking only military targets, then Ukraine should also be able to strike into Russia *anywhere* that they please without anyone complaining. Including directly into cities where civilians are everywhere. Why? That's what Russia has been doing all along, targeting population centers and citizen buildings vs only military targets. That's a problem.
