I doubt he got context afterwards. In case he reads the comments the main Objective was to retrieve a HVT called “The Wolf” who was recently captured by a Joint Marine/Army Operation with a CIA asset leading. The retrieval mission, as he saw, goes super sideways with CPT Price and his team losing more than gaining in Marine Casualties, the Ambassador himself getting killed, and the HVT escaping with The Butcher.

seriously. This has been an ongoing issue with Gamology. Lack of context before reaction to a game that the reactor has not "officially" seen before. Which is bizarre since Mr. Geoff Reeves has been on Gamology in other reaction videos before. With how much he's been in Gamology content, they should've already been giving him necessary context before reactions as a basic rule.

I wish that Call Of Duty would take their time and make more single player campaigns like Modern Warfare 2019 or Black Ops 1. Nowadays they push out new games like they’re an EA Sports game franchise.

MW2(2022) campaign was solid though. If anything the main thing I miss from the original MW trilogy is the set piece missions around famous monuments like DC in MW2 and Eiffel Tower in MW3.

There are different teams involving different studios doing different games at the same time. They stagger the launches so the keep the money getting in, but all of them have a development time of 3~4 years. They are not pushing games like EA Sports, there are multiple games being made at the same time and in multiple budget brackets. Even inside the same launch things are developed simultaneously by different studios (one builds single player, one builds most of the multiplayer, one build some other part for the multiplayer.)

0:52, 5:00, 5:13, 6:22 and 6:35... yeaaah love how Geoff always pays attention to the details, that's why i like so much his reactions. And also the big things like, why they go outside and run in the city when they could have just stayed in the embassy, knowing that they are outnumbered, i thought the same when i was playing that mission. Also, i watched 13 hours, great movie.

I think giving him more context on the story of the game at this point and why you're actually there (to evacuate a high-value prisoner being held at the embassy, not to save the ambassador or any more 'standard' embassy evac objective) would help him to interrogate the actions of the player and other characters more. Great vid though, I learned a lot from what he was saying. And being British it made me chuckle to see him say it's always cool hearing a British special forces guy 🤣 Also I think Geoff has gotten a lot more comfortable in front of the camera since he first started doing these which is cool to see. He comes across as relaxed and knowledgeable, which after all is why we're all here watching.

@@Sun-Warrior1911 MW2's story got ruined for me because we didn't see 141 group up in the beginning, and so I didn't see the relationship-building that i wanted to see, we just saw them group up in Warzone in short clips. The cutscenes in Warzone were over the top and goofy to me, and i didn't care for it at all. The missions in MW2 were Michael Bay-esque, rather than 13 Hours-esque. Reminds me of Cold War's campaign with all of the Near-Death quick cutscenes that littered the game

So, I agree with one of his earlier points about almost always pointing a firearm at an ally's back. The franchise HAS moments where you've relaxed aim on the weapons you're holding, and for long-ish periods of time. After the helo crash, there was no real reasonfor Gaz, a trained police officer, to be pointing a firearm at Price's back like that. Should've at least transitioned to low-ready. To sort-of counter-point the night vision, there's a chance Gaz and Price had NODs on the chopper, and lost them in the crash. I say "sort-of" be ause there should've been some NODs in the building you fall back to after exiting the Embassy building. If the police can have a few sets for emphasis patrols in the civilian side of things, the Embassy security teams should be able to have that stuff, no problem. Another point: It may be because the footage was cut, but when the player goes to take out the mortar position, the point was that the Predator Drone needed to RTB for re-arming and refuling, and the mortar position wasn't making it's position known enough previously to warrant being destroyed with the drone.

Oh man I like Geoff remarck an real life hostages situation in a game about SAS antiterroris rescue team . The game of the game is "The Regiment" the graphics compared with today makes want to use sunglasses (jajjaja) The mission is just called "The iranian embassy" you have a tiny little "documentary" with the men who conducted the mission little interviews. In the hardest mode you have many parameters, like a timer, put handcuffs to every civilian and embassy employee, fake surrender by the extremist.

1:24 It’d be interesting if he had caught that conversation. The one where they just met these desk jockey guys & thinking they’re your extraction team. As the MC, your team is to only get the VIPs as high priority. Was waiting for some insight as to why rescue those people instead of the rest that they just met seeking for desperate help at a moment’s notice. I get their role is far significant than that of others but we don’t even know if these VIPs are even worth saving. Especially if they’re not a good influence & only care abt $$$ & power 👊. I know the context cuz I’ve played it. I just want to hear more abt it in that kind of situation.

Guys on the ground pretty much never make a decision about value, that's always left to a CO. For example in intelligence work here is a saying that you report what you see, not what you think. This is why people live and die based on politics. Bad leadership means people die for bad people.
