As much as the casting and action looked good, the plot is dumb. There are about 92 ways to increase tensions with Russia that would be less convoluted.

I absolutely hate when they take a great book and completely ruin it with a movie that uses just names and has no part of the actual book.

Which book is it, if I may ask?
@Cynicism101Ай бұрын
@@beshlymoroaswi3729It’s a book by Tom Clancy called Without Remorse, the movie isn’t anything like the book, it just uses the same characters and a broad outline. Personally l loved the book and enjoyed the movie, you just need to accept they are different.
@militantfascade9176Ай бұрын
@@beshlymoroaswi3729 The book title is Tom Clancy's Without Remorse. This movie only uses the title, and doesn't follow any part of the book whatsoever, and race/gender swaps a few people. Ordinarily that would bother me, but since this has basically no real connection to the book, it doesn't really matter too much. The book is set during the Vietnam War and is the background story of John Kelly, later known as John Clark of Rainbow 6. It covers how John Kelly became Clark, and why.

Fun fact: In the book, Kelly is a white man. Just like original Nick Fury in the comics. But Hollywood... Well...

Get over it punk
@jpearce-9409Ай бұрын
@@ridwanomar5351it’s more of changing the source material to fit the narrative of Hollywood. Nothing wrong with it if it’s good but when the movie was being promoted it was all about race and allowing black people to play white people in the interviews. It’s insulting to think black people cant play their own roles and or has to replace others to get recognition in Hollywood
@adikast.phillip7162Ай бұрын
Well I hope you also voice your opinion when white people play black people roles... I see the flash still white, I see juggernaut and hulk, strongest marvel and DC characters still white when black people are historically faster and stronger
@jpearce-9409Ай бұрын
@@adikast.phillip7162When have white people played black people? If that happened, then wouldn’t it be okay for black people to protest that? But is it then wrong for white people to protest when a person of color plays their roles if it harms the source material? If Black Panther is played by a white person, I’d hate that and it’s wrong. I mean they have a girl playing it now yet the source material states the tribe of Black Panther never had female because they were priestesses. There’s been more times black people have played different roles in holloywood that have been switched or have changed their gender to fit a narrative. It’s a fictional show or movie. It’s just over representation

Woke trash that is nothing like the incredible book this was based on. Based on is being kind, its really just the name of the book and main characters. Really ruined what should have been an easy home run.
