Yesterday morning, CP 134 with the Navy Veterans unit leading powers around the Ardent Mill curve in pleasant morning light! CP 7022 was joined by KCS CW No. 4662, and CP SD60 No. 6255! It was nice to see 7022 again, the last time I filmed it was leading CP 231 back in April 2023. It was leading an average size 134, with autoracks, boxcars and hoppers making up most of the mixed freight, and alot of single stack intermodal at the end.
Thursday night into Friday morning was an annoying one on the Galt sub. CP 528 had a Norfolk Southern ACe leader and another NS unit for a DPU, CP 237 had 7020 leading (the army veterans unit), and CP 135 had CP 7022 leading, all between 2-5 AM. I was really hoping for at least the 528 and 237 to come in the daytime, but luck wasn't there for me. But I knew that CP 7022, the Navy Veterans unit, would come back leading 134 on Saturday morning, so at least I got one of them!
