Nawazuddin Siddiqui is an Indian film actor who has appeared in some of Bollywood's major films including, Black Friday (2004), New York, Peepli Live , Kahani, Gangs of Wasseypur, Gangs of Wasseypur Part -2, Kahaani, Talaash, The Lunchbox, Kick, Badlapur, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Raman Raghav 2.0, Haraamkhor, Raees, Mom, Munna Michael, Genius, Manto, Thackery, Photograph. And who can miss the famous web series Sacred Games 1 and Sacred Games 2
Nawazuddin made his Bollywood debut in 1999, with a small role in Aamir Khan starrer, Sarfarosh. He did a short film The Bypass in 2003, where he appeared with actor, Irrfan Khan. His appearance in Anurag Kashyap's Black Friday gave him fame. It was his role of a journalist in Aamir Khan Productions' Peepli Live, that first got him recognition as an actor. This was followed by a role as police informer Gopi in the biopic, Paan Singh Tomar.
Gangs of Wasseypur became the career-defining film for Nawazuddin. Siddiqui then followed this up with the Sequel to Gangs of Wasseypur Part 2. In 2013, he played the lead role in the horror flick Aatma. He appeared in Aamir Khan's 2012 release Talash. In 2014 he played a lead negative role in the blockbuster Kick.
In 2015, Siddiqui's films Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Manjhi - The Mountain Man were released, and he was praised for his roles. Siddiqui appeared in a film based in Gujarat, titled Haraamkhor. Siddiqui portrayed Balasaheb Thackeray in the biopic Thackeray. Other Best of Nawazuddin Siddiqui's movies are Kahaani, Raman Raghav 2.0, Badlapur, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Mom, Mukkabaaz, Manto, Photograph.
In 2018 Nawazuddin Siddiqui was seen in Sacred Games. Sacred Games is an Indian web television thriller series based on Vikram Chandra's 2006 novel of the same name. Soon there will be a second season of Sacred Games. Nawazuddin Siddiqui will play the lead in Netflix's upcoming film Serious Men.
According to latest news actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui is all set to play a passionate lover in director Shamas Nawab Siddiqui’s feature debut film ‘Bole Chudiyan’ which will also star actress Mouni Roy in the lead role.

The way Nawazuddin put it in the end is so true, we're all somehow searching for these moments of truth in our lives without realizing it and the lack of these very moments is what ends up making us restless. Being a city born & bred boy , man & now a middle aged man i myself am attracted towards nature especially mountains so can understand the pain that actors like Manoj Bajpayee & Nawaz Bhai here must be feeling to be trapped in the trappings of fame , money , success but not happy or comfortable inside. Can feel Nawaz sir's desire as an artist to come back to nature , to his land to rejuvenate himself so he can again bring something new to entertain us...his fans .
