There mixing and sound design is so tactile that I could literally FEEL the music tickling my ears, even with my shitty earphones. I can't imagine what it's like with a good pair of headphones.

I'd still prefer Intervals Above over this, but this is phenomenal in a different way altogether. Can't really rank them cuz they're all extremely top notch.

As good as Chronos is, it´s probably one of my least favorite EP´s of them. I think especially flow and moments-wise Silk Wave and Sanctuary are stronger. But I mean they are all very good.

I’ve always had mixed feelings about KOAN sound, and this EP doesn’t change that. While I can certainly appreciate the immaculate production quality, sound design, and uniqueness, I feel there is something missing. For example Chronos is quite boring for me, not much really happens throughout the whole song to keep me fully Interested. Same with Redshift and Aeon. Traverse is the only exception for me. There is just something about almost every KOAN sound song that is missing, wether it be lacking memorable ideas, dragging on without much change, lacking emotion, or just something that makes it an only good at best song. Polychrome was an exception, with just about every track checking every box for me, but this… no (other than traverse) Just so you know my favorite artists are Au5, Fractal, BT Edit: this could definitely grow on me, but those are just my initial thoughts

Totally agree, i really love koan sound but sometimes i feel this ep its really softy, yes the production and sound desing its incredible but in my case i prefer something more heavy or different like in polychrome

The reason I didn't like this EP personally, is because the music flows so smoothly that I don't even register when the songs end. Because of that, I am all clouded thru out the whole thing so yeah. If I would have to pick the best track, the title track the best one, because it has the most edge and also the easiest track to not totally "miss out" on while listening to.
