👉A very beautiful place in howrah beside the river Ganga. The height of the Shiva statue is 51 ft. This is the highest statue of Shiva in West Bengal. Must visit this place.
👉Nice place.if you visit from Kolkata then best way is Ahiritola ghat to Bandha ghat by ferry. If you visit from howrah then take bus or auto and reach Salkia more then take Toto. There is one way road.
👉Must visit this place.just love this place.take an auto from howrah-salkia bandhaghat. Auto takes max 10-15min to go to there. It is known to " natun mandir " to local people.
👉Nice and peaceful place. You can view howrah bridge from here. Beautiful scenario. Moreover every Sunday an NGO organises free healthcamp for diabetes and hypertension patients from 8am to 11am. Medication is also free. Done by Bimala devi arogya foundation.
🕉️NOTE:- Natun/ Naya Mandir at Salkia, Howrah is really very beautiful and awesome place for visit. You can go with your family and friends and etc. A beautiful place to see Sri Mahadev's 51 feet hieght which was inaugurated by India's president Shri Pranab Mukherjee.
Also it has five faces in one lord Shiva's statue and looks very amazing and you can seat here and take fresh breaths by near ganges (Hooghly river).
It is one of the most tallest lord Shiva idol in Eastern India, it is also called "Bangeswar Mahadev Mandir" at Salkia, Howrah. Anyone can take feery service at near bandhaghat-Ahiritola ferry service or go with bus, taxi, auto etc.
Although I can say it is a wonderful place to spend some quality time and you can make fresh your mind can pray there.
