Naya Rivera's body was found floating on the lake after she went missing late Wednesday night. Her 4-year-old son, Josey, was discovered sleeping alone on a boat his mother had rented for them that afternoon.

He was on the swim team but he had a heart issue(If I can recall) during a practice with just a couple of people+coach & his body gave out. he wasnt able to swim out of the 10-12ft pool & he died there. I think it's dumb to argue about it, but it's true, no one ever said she died saving her son. That's how rumors get started. It sounds like the boat drifted off and she panicked and tried to catch up to it while being in the water with her son. She must have been panicking immensely which is highly dangerous while swimming. It's not unlikely that she didn't have enough strength left to pull herself onto a boat after panicking and swimming after it while carrying a 4 year old through the water

I would bet that while swimming with her son, winds blew the boat steadily away from them. She swam hard back to the boat, holding onto her son, dragging him, and in a last burst of energy, pushed him up onto the boat, but was so exhausted that she couldn't do any more. We have not been given the full timeline because we are missing a key piece of the puzzle. And we are trying to make sense of what happened based on what information we are given. It is a very big mistake to take your child and go to some environment that is dangerous. The boat is dangerous, the water is dangerous, and the surrounding area is dangerous. You need to go there with family members or friends. You can't go there with a small kid that needs your help constantly. Life can be harsh. One has to be attentive to survive it. Sometimes one mistake can take you out.

The boat wasn't anchored, she was in a deep part with strong currents. It was a windy day, the boat could've drifted. People drowned in that lake before. She clearly lifted him up with her last strength. Why do you need to know more?

The kid is 4, he’s capable of wrapping a towel around himself. He probably got cold or instinctively went to cover himself when he felt sleepy. Apparently the currents were pretty strong that day she vanished so she likely used her energy to boost her son into the boat ( adrenaline is one hell of a thing ) as it was drifting away. It had no anchor. She didn’t wear a life jacket because she’s a strong swimmer and probably thought she didn’t need it. She must’ve gotten tired and couldn’t support herself any longer and went under.

Then yesterday they said she had both her phone and wallet on the boat and was on FaceTime with friends/family, which they somehow were able to find a recording and locate her last whereabouts. idk this whole thing is really strange and the "timeline" is not adding up to me at all. At first it was "the son said she put him back on the boat and then jumped into the water", and now it's "she helped him up and disappeared into the water". Those are two completely different events. She put him back on the boat vs. she helped him back on the boat. She jumped into the water vs. she disappeared into the water. Both can suggest many different possibilities. So I'd rather wait for the autopsy report to be released.

I have a theory as to how she died. Certain factors of her being a confident swimmer were taken into my consideration 1) She had enough strength to put her child into the boat but not herself 2) The boat drifting theory may have validity but not causation due to her acknowledgment and vicinity of the boat 3) The lake is not naturally made 4) There is wildlife that is well known near the lake. My theory is that while she was in the water. She was bitten by something that affected her muscular and nervous system. As she panicked for her son to reach the boat, the toxins could have accelerated throughout her body as swimming is the one of the most taxing activities. My hunch is that she could have been bitten by a rattlesnake.
