Dear Nayna, don’t push yourself too hard! Going to lunch with a friend is just as good a way to spend a day as anything else! The world we live in has made us believe we gain our worth through being “productive” and only doing things like exercising/work/studying etc when that is not true! Slow days are just as important and worthy! Motivation will come back so just enjoy the more relaxed days!☺️🌸

i think Nayna is the only youtuber i started watching during quarantine whom i haven't outgrown. she's so pure and authentic with her feelings, you can clearly see she doesn't try being the productive and always positive 'that girl' tries to aspire cause she allow herselft to feel all she goes through with no fear of being judged for it.

literally related to everything you said about life feeling stuck and stagnant when at home where you can't just step out your door and be doing something like at uni, and w finding the winter break difficult! Got myself into the exact same kinda slump and realised it was a combination of having weird flashbacks to the lockdown period of being stuck and also just winter blues and a lack of sunshine

You videos of the only thing I watch on KZbin now. That’s so positive and so like motivating it’s always helps me to be happy.

I 100% feel you about just feeling so unmotivated to do anything. since I got on winter break, I've just derailed i guess lol, going to bed at 2am or later and waking up at around 10:30 or 11 and just getting so frustrated as to why i can't FIX any of it, no matter how hard i try! it's so frustrating, but I hope when you get back to edinburgh that things start to take shape more for you:)
@MaliHayes.2 жыл бұрын
I literally just posted a video explaining the same thing about motivation and unsure of what I’m doing, being annoyed at myself. It’s so easy to fall into being really harsh on yourself. But also finding the balance of being gentle but pushing yourself is so difficult. I hope you find that balance point really soon - thank you for sharing Nayna x

aaa I’ve been feeling the winter blues too and the main contributing factor to this is the fact it gets completely dark out anywhere from 4-5pm, it’s definitely made me feel sluggish !! I can’t wait to bloom again in Spring 🌷🌼🍄🌱

I've woken up late, gone to bed late, not even picked up a single book 😭 I keep telling myself to chill out, that the new year just started. It's awful, so thank you for being real about how you're feeling because you're not alone 🥺.

I’m in the exact same rut right now! Lately I’ve been going to bed at like 1/2, sometimes later, and waking up at 10, or 6 if it’s a school day, and it’s so bad, but I just for the life of me can’t seem to get out of doing it. And there’s so much I should be doing & ticking off my todo list, even if it’s just reading more of my book or stretching or doing a foot workout for ballet, all of which I’ll reep the benefits of, I just don’t have the motivation to get it done or prioritise it, instead I’m spending hours on KZbin or doing things that could be done next week. So I completely get you, it’s so frustrating, and I’m incredibly annoyed at myself, but I know that if I let that sink in I’ll only be less focussed. But we’re in this together & we’ll get out of it, from today!!

Okay so I really have to comment on this one. I just turned 27 a few days ago but felt so lost in the last few weeks, I don’t know I I zero motivation and energy and the weather is just so bad in Germany, I can’t tell day and night apart 🥸 usually I am very disciplined and productive but lately I don’t know myself. I watched a video of mine in 2020, where I talked about my New Years resolutions, but my vision was so big and I was so intellectual, but today I feel like a bag of potato 🥔

The Pela discount code made me buy a new phone case 🤭 I was really happy with the 40% discount so thanks for getting us such a good deal! I was a bit disappointed however when I got the email saying my parcel was being shipped from Canada (I live in Europe btw)… seems kind of counter to their mission right? Hope that’s something that they can figure out soon!

the demotivation and messy schedule, believe me - it gets worse when you get older lol. If we analyze - with more freedom, comes with more natural form of being - maybe we are just being human. Self acceptance is difficult sometimes, but it truely is worth exploring! accept the gift of being a human, those feelings would be absent if we were not.

Nayan, love, you are deserving of a break, sometimes you have weeks where your body an mind are burnt out a bit, and i just wanna share something with you. I’ve been going home a lot recently, because my mom and dad are kinda separating. I live in a diff city 4 hours away, and it my city its so nice i feel so much of an easy time to set boundaries, enjoy my time, and just doing ME at my best. whenever I’m home i feel like bad habits creep back in, just not doing as much with my time, not having as much “productivity” and its way easier to prioritize me when I’m in my own place, my city, and I’m able to just feel like my time is being used well. It’s always been like that,- and I am trying at least to just sort of give myself grace and patience with the fact that its hard to maintain the kind of routine i want to when I’m home, but i also want to there for my mom and dad. I feel you on frustration and having days where I’m quite annoyed at myself. But as a win, i remind myself that I’m so proud of who i am and who i am growing into even if sometimes it feels like I’m back in this older version of me and do pick up some bad habits again… its OK you are on the right path, just remember you are in process and progress.
