FAWAZ So emotionally nostalgic for me! In a picture above, all seven leading ladies - Sabiha, Noorjehan, Neelo, Husna, Yasmin, Bahar and Nayyar - were all my close friends! I had sung for all of them, the exception, of course, being Noorjehan. I believe, only Husna, Yasmin and Bahar are still with us - and Noorjehan, Sabiha, Neelo and Nayyar have all departed...... I myself, left for the UK and Europe in August 1971 with my husband Moslehuddin and our two little children, Feisal and Nermin. We decided to make our home in Birmingham, UK after Pakistan was split in two in 1971. My great Music Composer, Stage and TV personality husband Moslehuddin, sadly passed away in Birmingham 20 years ago, on 23 August 2003. I still reside in Birmingham on my own. My daughter Nermin lives in Surrey near London, and my son is living presently near Dallas in Texas, USA. So, from 1971 onwards I lost touch with all these friends, and the rest is history! Memories make me very sad........Darpan and Nayyar were our neighbours and lived opposite our house in Gulberg III, Lahore, when we went abroad. May the departed Stay Blessed, and those still here - may they be blessed with a long and healthy, happy life. Aameen!

Otherwise, our people who get a bit popularity in any field especially in showbiz cocooned themselves so much so that they think discussing other will make them inferior in sight of others. ارے بھائی آپ کہہ رہے ہیں دونوں کا ساتھ بہت کم عرصے رہا پھر کہہ رہے ہو درپن کے انتقال کے وقت بڑے بیٹے کی عمر 20 سال تھی شادی کو اس وقت 22 سال تو ہوئے ہوں گے 22 سال کا عرصہ کیا کم ہے اسے مختصر کہہ رہے ہو؟ پھر دوسری غلطی نیرسلطانہ 55 سال میں اور درپن 52 سال میں انتقال کرتے ہیں، آپ انہیں کہہ رہے ہیں دونوں نے جوانی میں انتقال کیا ہے۔ بھائی دونوں نے آدھی صدی سے بھی زیادہ زندگی پائی ابھی تک نوجوان تھے؟ کی ہوگیا جے ؟

They were married in 1964 and Darpan died in 1980 means their marital span was just 14 years. In one way it is really too short when the couple belongs to showbiz leading a life full of hectic. People in showbiz really get young when they touch this age. You are just splitting hair.
