Anyone lucky enough to watch nazareth in concert saw a high class show Dan macatherty was an amazing front man backed up by superb musicians I was lucky enough to see nazareth live in Southampton in 1979 and wow what a show

When I was a teen in the mid-70s, EVERYBODY had the record Nazareth Greatest Hits. The band was LOVED! I got to see them then at a packed 10,000 seat arena in Ottawa, Canada and then fast forward about 20 years and I saw them again at a club in Halifax, Nova Scotia in front of a few hundred rowdy drunks lol

man what a Great powerfull vocal range Dan Mac. Cafferty very close to Brian Johnson of ac dc . This would been perfect fit for ac dc. round the back in black album..Or lead vocalist for guns roses has that harsh crisp powerfull voice.Nazareth where in my home Town 2006 blues festival did a concert I havent heard much of their music catalog Just small bits and pieces .I guess the early stuff was realy good.nazareth.Like Uriha heap early stuff to mid 80 s released some Great albums

I saw them twice in the late 70's at The Pallidium in NY and they were amazing, they kicked major ass, when i saw them they had a different 2nd guitar player Zal Clemenson.

This band was firing on all cylinders for most of their classic-lineup career. Pete Agnew is tearing up the bass here! It's hard to beat their music, escpecially from "Hair Of The Dog" through "Expect No Mercy". What's up with this video, though? Sounds like a piano noodling in the background through a lot of it.
