Donna, this is a great rose pattern! I chained 36 and only went two rounds and rolled. Perfect little lacy rose for child's hat or a cluster of them on a bag. Very versatile pattern! Thanks very much👍👍 🌹🌹😀😀

You make the best tutorial videos on all of the internet.!! I'm not exaggerating...I've searched and watched so many tutorials for years. They either had bad music playing with captions and hands crocheting that usually didn't even match what the captions were doing, or they were extremely hard to follow and not at all beginner friendly. I've never had to pause or adjust the speed of your video's and that in itself is amazing to me. Please keep making great videos. I've shared your channel with so many people and they all thank me and tell me how you have been the only one that they could actually follow, understand and learn from too. 👏😍

I just made one of these using Aunt Lydia's cotton crochet thread, size 10, and a steel crochet hook, Bates size 8. It's only the 2nd crochet project I made that is 3 dimensional. It worked out very well with this thread instead of wool/acrylic yarn, the only difference being that there is a right and a wrong size when you wind up the project at the end. The petals should curl downward for the best effect. Try winding it both ways before securing, to see which you prefer. I also went through the piece with a needle to secure it a few times from a few points, to make sure it would be well secured. The finished piece was a little under 2 inches in diameter. It was quite nice. Thank you for sharing this pattern with video instructions.

One of the best crochet flower videos I've watched!! Very informative but still simple and EASY to follow. I'm guessing you could make the flowers a little smaller by using a thinner yarn but could you make less chains at the beginning to make the flower a little less bulky? Thank you SO much for this pattern. The instructions are clear and easy to follow and they turn out so pretty! I wanted to make flowers that wouldn't die for 7 of my family members that are buried in the same graveyard that I am going to visit in June. It will be the first time I have seen my mother's grave in person (we live in GA and they are buried in MA). Since I almost never get up there, I wanted something that would last and that would be my own creation.
