This could be tested by comparing the opponents transition bar, but based off of descriptions, "Top Game" and "Bottom Game" stats don't make denying easier. Just speeds up your own transitions and makes the reversal window bigger when denying. This makes sense, because your own stat shouldn't effect your opponents transition speed, aka the time you have to deny. There are a couple perks that do make that claim however. That all being said, the game calls it Top/Bottom "Control" in stock, and Top/Bottom "Game" in Online career. So what do I know lol.
