If your intent is to bathe the monkey, then do it. Don't hold her suspended in space, or upside down or force her to be on her back. You are making her feel insecure and vulnerable and it frightens her. You only need an inch or two of water in the tub. Put her in the tub. Set her down or let her stand so she can feel secure and touch the bottom. Bathe her and get it over with. 4 minutes in and haven't started washing her yet. Gee, I wonder why she's upset?

There was no steam or anything coming off of that water she was pouring in there so if anything it might have been a little warm but mixed with a lot of cold water it's just going to be cold.. I guarantee that it's not warmed up at all she just did it for the illusion that she was adding the hot water.. It also grazed her leg when she was about to pour it and it didn't burn her.. the lid was also already off right before she started pouring it like she had just filled it from the tap like she did the bathtub
