They removed it because it’s not fair to the team with the better record of the season. Also before the 10's, players played an average 72 games, meaning with injuries calculated and virtually nobody sat to 'rest'. 'Risking injury' is a bs excuse for a soft era. And I bet you're young so when all you have seen actively is an all star game like this, ofc you don't miss the best players of the league actually being competitive. That's why we watched the All Star. To see players team up with players they would probably never play with.
