If you actually play 2k you know if a shot would go in or not based on your release/openness/stats/etc. Its not just an algorithm the game has a physics engine. The whole court shots and buzzer beater shots are the ones that rely more on the “algorithm” if u ask me.

Christian Bazalar and basketball ain’t just about shooting....cuz you said “everything is probability in the game”. But guess what? Thats how shooting actually works in real life brother, at the end of the day there is no “sure ball” no matter how fundamentally sound a player is, how perfect they release the shot, or how unconscious they are on the court, it still always takes a little luck for it to go in. There are so many mechanics in the game and it will continue to evolve as time goes on. It takes skill my friend.

Being a gamer myself I love esports. But turning an actual sport into esport is kinda cheezy. This types of games are casual games, they require some strategy but not as much as games like dota, lol, cs etc. These games lean more towards probability than actual skills.
