KZbinrs ruined park. Nobody knows how to learn to play by themselves. All it takes is a popular video to show cheese or an exploit and everybody eats it up. Nobody in the league plays and is built EXACTLY the same. Go on 2K which should be based off the nba, you play against play sharps/shots with the same dribble moves and stretches with the same jumpshot release. Nobody learns the game themselves. This been going on since 2k15 when they dropped the Demi-God glitch. If KZbin didn’t tell mfs what the cheese was and how to exploit, 2/3 of the community would be trash. It’s no skill in this shit anymore. Just watch a video over and over until you can copy what they’re doing.

My biggest problem is how in my career with archetypes you’re kinda stuck being a one sided role player instead of a real superstar, i wish they had an offline mycareer where you could max out your player and have stats and athleticism like Jordan, lebron, curry, giannis etc

Lejon Brames You can already kinda do that if you make a Create A Player and put him in MyLeague. You can put a controller lock on that player so you can play with him no matter what team he plays on (make sure you controll all teams) But yeah, they want your MyPlayer to be a role player so you feel like you’re missing something and spend $50 on a new build.

YES! I hate being so limited. On HoF the defense quickly adjusts to how you play so you constantly have to change up what you're doing (or spam the cheese) but have unrealistically few options.

Park made 2K worse. The old player building style was balanced and could make you improve everywhere, not just a select few stats. And everyone on park is a sweaty 3-point shooter who refuses to let go of the ball, and blames it on you when you lose. Park needs to be cared about less, or just deleted completely.

I’m a Play Now Online guy and it’s sad 2K refuses to give it any attention at all, I would love for a true top 100 leaderboard to come back, I would love to compare stats like you could do with friends in 2k11, I would love to have online leagues again but 2K truly only caters to Park players because they spend 100+ dollars for VC year after year

KZbinrs ruined 2K by setting the competition standard too high. They spend unreasonable amounts of time and money on the game and since there's no real skill gap and it's all based on attributes, everyone else needs to attempt to keep up. The 2K League players are by no means the best 2K players, they're the people who had the means to spend a lot of time and money on one of the most pay-to-win games there is

I've been saying this forever. People in this community don't even have their own opinions about the game, they just say what their favorite youtuber says. Back on the old gen when the 2k community leaders were like Chris Smoove, IKC, Shakedown, etc., the game not nearly broken as it is because everybody played what role they wanted to. Now you just see a lot of "best archetype/jumpshot" videos so there is no diversity in the game.

It would give them more time to “listen” to their consumers (we all know they don’t) and more opportunity to make things; instead of releasing a game, only focusing on it for a few months after the initial release and then have tunnel vision for their “new” game

Combining the game modes assisted in ruining the experience. My career was all I ever played. I liked being a Jordan clone at the start so I could drop like 5-10$ back then and be u stoppable. Now the archetypes- the rugged algorithms are everywhere, it's no longer subtly rigged its blatant. Greed and online totally ruined the career mode. The forced storylines are stupid af also. Don't tell me who I am, who my best friend is. We got better graphics, realistic animations (which are also ruining the game now) but way less options to control our own character and career. 2k13-2k16 were my favorites. Ironically 2k used to get some money from me and they weren't having to force or rig game mechanics to force it.

The thing I'm mad about is why get rid of the dunk contest by choice now if I want to do One I have to go to My league simulate to it and not even choose who I want so then I have max out who I want to be dunk to 99 just to play dunk contest which also kinda sucks unlike 2k8,9and10 u can't put a command in u have to choose and do a confusing mini game and u only get three props which is dumb.

Career mode is terrible. You are capped in attributed so that people don’t cry on park while THE ACTUAL NBA players aren’t held to the same cap.. What build is LeBron? My forward is stuck chasing him as 90 speed forward in the conference finals who is green releasing threes. My player can never get that fast as a forward. MyCareer is nothing short of a hallway to Park. It’s terrible, Live shouldn’t have chickened out..

Simple solution for 2k with us offline and online players is separate my park and my career let us build from scratch the type of player we want to have for my career with no limitations and then on my park have archetypes and these builds and other stuff because what you do in my career has no effect on your park stats now you can grind on park the same way you can grind in my career so let the ones who don’t want to play park make the greatest player off all time how they see fit

I feel like archetypes made it terrible. Park was great in 15,16,17. 16 being the prime because of rep affiliation and getting the community to compete for a new park. It was easy to get a 99 ovr in 16 making it even. Now every build dominates in certain spots. Also vc prices are ridiculous

What I would love too see for park players is the ability too get any take over, this year take over gives plus 10 too all stats, I’d love for players too be able too get all take overs, you still have your primary build like a sharp for example and when you get take over for knocking down 3s you get a plus 10 to all shooting stats, But you if get a few rebounds you get a glass take over that boost your rebounding, box out stats +5, give a few assists and get play making take over you get a +5 too ball control, passing accuracy etc...

I think it’s funny that one you get to 93 you’re a VIP. Cause if 2K is being honest those guys are OIPs. The only important people. Who’ve played 1000 games on park and have pink diamond players on their MyTeam bench. The other guys, who do play now or Mycareer offline-or even just don’t reach that top tier in 2K are basically chum. It’s crazy. Well take this for example... parks back then was good cause it didn’t affect you in actual my career games and what I mean by that is... adding archetypes... really the goal for a player in my career was to become a legend a person that was a once in a lifetime player. But because people made the Demi gods and literally since I’m real life you have Demi gods such as Porzingas and Jokic, they got mad and wanted 2k to nerf those people. Instead 2k nerfed everybody, this coming up with Archetypes... then all the KZbin videos about “how to get all green releases” “what shot is good for park” etc. when back then you were a 99 but certain things as a PG you couldn’t get to as a 99 like blocks and rebounds all that. But really micro transactions and all did ruin it but also the community did cause of the complaints... I personally didn’t like the archetype system just for the simple fact this year certain ones have begged that don’t really make sense for their play style... like a sharpshooter that has a defensive stopper unless you a two way player... but honestly I can say that 2k has kept its presentation on point
