Id like to see 2k add some drama to the series. Maybe something like during the playoffs that high school coach passes away and it inspires Smoove to have a classic game. For all the progress 2k has made its lacking a key element of the NBA: moments. This league is defined by great moments and I think itd be totally viable and interesting to give the MyPlayer chances to create and also dramatize moments. Like if someone drops a record at the garden, it should have its own little cutscene or whatever.

Every contested shot or layup goes in and whenever the shot clock is running out unless you block the shot that's a guaranteed bucket. 2k needs to seriously patch this bullshit. I have seen it in various degrees since 2k10. It's one of the reasons I wait a few months after release til I pick up the game. It is like the mode forces you to be essentially a one man team. Like the game is reminding you that you are playing a single player game and the only thing that matters is you... (Not a bad thing but in a team based competitive sport simulation I expect more competitive teamwork and AI competence.) But yeah, 2k12 was the most egregious in this respect, in my experience.
