Passing lanes are my favorite part of 2k. I don’t scare if I score zero points. If I don’t have 5+ steal I’m in my feelings lol

Play the passing lanes and what I do is I imagine a straight line to whoever has the ball to the player you're guarding.. you wanna be next to that line.. wingspan matters to determine what distance you can be off from that line to get a clean tip or steal.

My build has 89 speed but I'm having issues at times where when I hit RT to speed up the player doesn't speed up he's just jogging matter of fact all of my 84+ speed builds does this and I'll be facing a player with 81 speed 77 accel and they blow past me off the ball. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

how much Adrenaline you have is supposed to effect your steal, do you feel that is true or just a fib i see you getting steals with no adrenaline still.

We find we can consistently get offball steals in lanes without adrenaline, different story on ball, we find after the first bar is used (and moreso the first two), there's less of a chance of an onball pluck

When is the “right time” to press square? When the ball is thrown or when your near the ball?

It kind of depends on what pass acc and needle threader the passer has, but try watching for the moment the ball leaves the player's hands/passing animation finishes

When u get the "pick steal" on the fastbreak. When do u time it, & hit square? In the air or on the catch?

hitting the square buttons for steals is based off of length of the pass. If it’s a full court pass you won’t have to press square until the ball is midway in the air. If it’s in the half court you usually have to press square when the ball is leaving the passers hands.

Which is stupid because why am I pushing the steal button when the last isn’t even there yet… instead of timing the ball and pressing it when the ball is close to me… I always thought stealing passes never felt in timing like on Madden you press it when the ball gets to you not when it leaves the qb hands that’s dumb… but I understand it’s about triggering animations not playing the game in real time.

@@Tha2ruthhonestly I don’t even look at the passer’s hands, you have to predict they will pass and press it before the pass. I avg 3 steals/g w 89 steal on a 6’6 pg. this is halfcourt. Full court they give you more time to press square like the other reply said.

What hour on the clock am I moving the right stick? 8 or 4 o clock? I'm sorry this doesn't work. I have 96 steal with hof right stick and gold interceptor and glove. Everytime I attempt a steal coming My way the player just puts his hands up to his face and let's it fly past him or swings his arm the wrong way.
