Imagine a “wear and tear” feature in 2k25. Your shoes get worn out after every game, and shoe prices are so ridiculous you have to play barefoot 😂

I blame the community, they throw money at 2K and now they literally put badge regression in the game ao you can grind more and pay more money for VC. Only reason i play this game is because my friend bout it and we share the game. I havent spent a dime on this game. Im making one character and if my badges keep regressing im just gonna stop playing it. The community helped ruin this game.

I sat out MyCareer last year bc of microtransactions and I saw this coming. I mean, I never saw a season pass coming but I knew they'd make the VC grind insufferable. I only played MyCareer late in the game cycle bc of all the locker codes for high tier cards. Plus it was on sale for like $10 by that time so even if I wanted to buy VC, I'd have spent less total money towards the game than 90% of the consumer base. Guess I'll be doing the same this year IF I buy it at all.

It really sucks because part of me wants to just enjoy the game, I think people are really liking the basketball this year but when you’re in a menu spending real life money for more time than actually playing I just have to agree when it inevitably drops below $40-50 I’ll probably try it

It absolutely sucks bc it looks better & everything about the actual gameplay plus wanting to play Rec w/my friends makes me want to play but when even the VC you get from Mamba edition isn't enough to get to 80, I'm cool. Plus badge regression just seems like an incentive for players to be more selfish & stat chase so if you're not getting the opportunities you need for your build, you're screwed.

What’s up bro, new subscriber. Thanks for your honest review bcus a lot of KZbinrs really not pointing the pay wall out like they should. Anyway I bought the Black Mamba Edition & never received any of my pre order bonus content or VC. Also none of the content from NBA2K23 Kobe challenges. I believe it was purposely done so I would buy more VC to upgrade my player through the game. So what I did is spent $2 to make sure that worked in game, it did. I’ll be taking the game back to GameStop, not supporting anything 2K Interactive does.

At the end of the day, the blame rests on the community for this shit. That's just fact. That being said, I think that 6 out of 10 was the fair score, for the simple reason that there are plenty of other modes in 2K24 that have got nothing to do with MyCareer. If it was JUST based on MyCareer, it would be a solid 1 out of 10. But at the end of the day, it isn't.

I play my career offline and the gameplay is awesome...online like the park or rec placing with randoms is still a horrible experience unless you play with friends...still bugs playing online like getting banned for lagging out...that's why I've barely played online modes yet

Typical 2K. I wish IGN would’ve also acknowledged the delay issue in its multiplayer features. The delay damn near makes the game unplayable. Imagine you just spent $100 on your build excited to finally get to the park just for your game to be choppy, but not because of your connection or anything,because of the servers. 😂

I honestly feel like 2k servers have always been like the laggiest... For a game where timing is damn near everything it's crazy, I could have google fiber and still get 200ms ping. Go play any other game and you get lagged out at 150

Play ...quick play on superstar...& then play MyTeam on superstar...the A.I. is way smarter....that's I believe to push you to play a mode that promotes money spending......

Also why is my career online it makes no sense because making the game mode online reduces replay value and after 2 years the server will shut down and the game is obsolete. I play the old 2ks that have offline kat career because it's accessible I'd rather not play today's 2ks with them removing the game mode offline

I think MyCareer is the most important for them to get right because tha's what everyone has to play... whether you want Park. ProAm, or just Solo... but absolutely the overall gameplay is definitely improved and if that's enough for you to enjoy 2K than hell I say enjoy it!!

the same problems with nba 2k is the same issues wwe 2k has. they literally have monopoly in both franchises that's littered with microtransactions and lootboxes that's infecting the gameplay trying to get u to pay to play. it's all over my faction they literally have a microtransactions card game for mobile wwe 2k super card there's literally no difference between the two both ips need competition so we can have an alternative but so far EA sports isn't delivering nba live for console players anymore but it is on mobile for the same reason nba 2k has for consoles. LOL back in the day we had variety from multiple gaming publishers to choose from like nba shootout from 989 sports, nba jam from acclaim, midway's nba hoopz and nba ballers even nba showtime: nba on nbc and a more. 2k is literally using a deadman likeness by milking it so we can pay more for less. LMFAO u can never say this generation is better than any of the previous generation i really don't give a shit about graphics bcuz it wasn't about that when i was growing up so it's easy for me to go back to ps2, ps1, ps3, GameCube and n64 so i don't have to worry about this type of shit but this is pathetic and a new low for using kobe like that. i was really looking forward on checking this out and ur video was the first thing that showed up on my feed i'm disappointed but not surprised at the same time i wish more publishers get nba game license, so we don't have to worry about this shit. u know it's bad when IGN is even trashing it. 😂😂

Thats ironic coming from the puppets of EA that gives the same step in the right direction speak to criticize 2K. Yes 2K sucks but ea is worse because they don't do anything and also everything in ea games is barebones compared to 2k.aside from microtransactions, 2k is great but madden, FIFA, and UFC sucks so bad. Kets see the fratures in the journey were requested for my player instead we got the journey that lasted for 3 years and everything was waste then we got volta and it was all shit cause ultimate team ruined the game, the same goes for UFC and even Madden which is worse since superstar mode was worse and it don't simulate the sport its based on and franchise is bare 🦴 s so please .
