I think rec randoms are so bad now because the game is so popular that its more little kids playing the game with zero understanding of actual basketball..its just a video game to them.. im talking the age where u give them an unplugged controller when they want to play w you..that young

Agreed. What’s also interesting is most of the time we play Is both late at night and school hours, so most of the time we are running into grown men who can’t play. This game just has a lot of people who obviously don’t know even the basics of basketball. They didn’t play IRL and don’t watch the NBA. They do what you said and treat it like it’s just a video game and not a basketball video game. Having some basketball knowledge would go a long way but they don’t care 🤷🏽‍♂️

The problem is dumb shots get taken in real life. Dumb turnovers and missed wide open shots. The problem is who starts raging at the 1Q because people made mistakes, missed wide open players (the biggest issue I see) or missed shots. Flopping, calling timeouts, bitching and putting the controller down. The score could be 15-12 and yall winning but people quitting. And in a video game. Yall not running plays which creates order and structure. This is free range basketball. Yall was saying dude sold the game down 10 in the 3rd. Then went to raging. Where yall heart be? Lol

There’s some validity to only a couple of things you said. Idgaf about missed shots, especially on this game where everyone is struggling shooting. That would be ridiculous for me to be mad about that. Mistakes is fine because we’re all human and make them all the time. Going up on 3 defenders in the paint is not just a simple mistake, how much of the mf video did you watch? I understand maybe some of these videos is too long for tik tok and YT shorts brains but that’s on you if you chose to click the video anyway. The issue is people like you (since you chose to sympathize with ball hogs, which indicates that you are fine with the way that they played because you play exactly the way they do, so you see nothing wrong with it and make silly excuses) come to the rec with your buddy or buddies and play 2 or 3 man ball knowing full well that you have to share the ball with all 5 people. You don’t even need to watch the full video to see that they had no intentions on letting us help them. Yes HELP! That’s all we’re trying to do is play together, and if y’all don’t wanna do that then why not play the other game modes offered to you? You got park, stage, theater, mycareer, and now y’all have starting 5 if you wanna play hero ball and don’t care if you win. You people are so selfish and delusional it’s Amazing! Now if they chose to let us play and help them, we wouldn’t have cared if we we’re down 30, we with you till the end. Play as a TEAM, and win and lose as a TEAM! @@MarioMooreYT brother. I watched the whole game. I watched one of your guys do one of those pull up jumpers on a fast break where he meant to do a layup but the game mechanics didn’t allow him. You didn’t moan and groan cause that’s your partna. Do I make dumb decisions? Yes but I’m also a scorer and I do happen to not have a set of plays I can run to avoid mistakes that gives me the appropriate spacing. You set like 2-3 screens this whole game. Just clogging up space. You’re a content creator you should want me to be invested btw. Just tired of running against rec players who act like females in the game cause it don’t go your way.

This is a good sample of what the issue is playing with 2k no doubt but you displayed the other half of the issue on your behalf. The issue I have is the emotional meltdown (with the flopping, passing the ball back, not playing defense, giving up and etc.) you and your friends had 1 min into the 3rd quarter and yall were already on edge in the second. You saw what they did in the first half, so it should be understandable why we reacted the way we did. You believe that no matter what they did we should have just been passive and went along with it? No matter what we did we were going to lose that game like we always do in these situations because they had no intentions on playing team ball. If you’re gonna come into the rec knowing you have to play with other people you don’t know and still decide to solo or buddy ball with 1 other person against an entire team, take 20 shots and only make 9 of them while letting your teammates only take 1 or maybe 2, and be dumb enough to blame them for the L is beyond crazy.
