It won't be for a while. They are using "scarcity" to make people open packs. If people know that they can't get a card without pulling it, they will open packs. 2k is aware that if people know they will be able to get cards in the market, they won't open packs. They only want people to buy VC and open packs, they will not do anything to deter people from doing so.

@@isnagfn2257 They have no other ideas of how to make money. They are responsible for the parent company losing 7%. There will never again be a time that the game won't be pay to win. Either people buy packs or cards are going to be VC only it's the only way for them to make money. This is the first year that gambling wasn't the whole business model (with them adding the player market) and it has failed financially. So now they are going back to what has always worked. It's terrible and disgusting, but they aren't just going to not sell us stuff and be okay with not making money. They will charge us one way or the other as they are a publicly traded company and have a legal responsibility to stock holders to make money. Microtransactions have always made up 70 to 75% of their revenue and they will do whatever in order to make people buy VC as it is where the bulk of their money comes from. It's over at this point, there is no going back.

I bought 4 of the 11k vc leap year packs with vc that I earned from hof pro passes and I pulled lonzo. I never paid my own money on packs this year or vc and last night around midnight i pulled him in only 4 singles.i wish I was recording 😅 I couldn't believe it.
