Inconsistent shoot timing( I swear I time it right every time and it’s changes), sellout teammates, goofy animations, locks not just pressing square to stay in front of you. paint is sweet, I get ripped mid dribble with unpluckable, like mid dribble animation they press square and get an animation every time. I missed where in 2k20, the better team was going to win 90% of the time, now I be loosing to bums because of my teammates and the games shitty mechanics. I'm going to be completely real: 2K24 is the first 2K game I ever owned. This lowkey ass. I knew it wasn't gonna be fun cause I had to get used to the learning curve, But with all the microtransactions being shoved in my face honestly thought: "is this a mobile game?" I guess it's my fault for buying it on the switch because it's the old Gen. Version so you don't get my career cut scenes or whatever. So if he wants to “mash” cause he’s 7’3 a little investment into layups won’t hurt. He saved on layups to be better where? Gotta understand the builder and builds in general… he 7’3 mid strength, mid finishing probably not one of the bigger bodies on the court so in the paint he gone struggle. If you want to mash, build a masher… 7’3 alone don’t get you that.

I believe them animations are momentum based. Once that momentum gone, it's over. You have no control. Out of bounds, slightly late, slight early, throwing the ball out of bounds, illegal screen, travelling, pump fake but 2k makes you shoot, shot being blocked without shooting etc. 🤦🤦🤦🤦 You hilarious 💯🫡

The animations are terrible for bigs, catching slips. Bobbling the ball. Need badges to put ur left foot in front of ur right foot. Respectfully ur build is terrible. Ur middy & three ball are two low to hit, your missing open layups cuz ur layup is 29. But 7’3 are not good especially if you don’t have a squad cuz they’re too slow. Might as well go with 7’1 but 6’8 bigs are really the meta but they’re not usually dunkers more like lock/shooters which suck to play with randies. Damn if you do, damned if you don’t. This game is really bad, If you don’t have a squad.

😂 You right, BUT this was my day one build of my own, no copying youtuber's meta builds, 2k changes what attributes do every year to screw you over, as a big I chose high close shots because to me close shots mean under the basket layups and dunks, and I chose low driving layups because my big will not be on the perimeter handing the ball driving to the rim doing Kyrie Irving layups, if I'd known close shots didn't mean close shot under or at the rim I would have chose driving layups which again don't make sense for my big. Also 2k made it hard to make a build be more than one dimensional. 2k always finesse us.

It’s unfortunate cuz layups are really op for bigs this year, a 80 lay up would probably be a better experience on not getting hoed. Also there way no way to know middies would be so overpowered. The game is really bad if u haven’t become a confident shooter, on what you can & can’t hit otherwise it’s such a guessing game most ppl who don’t sweat the game don’t even wanna shoot wide open. Or can’t understand why they miss. With randoms it’s hard to miss & them keeping hiting you to find rhythm. Depending on situation, this game can def be more bad than good. I main guard so I’m able to put squads together so I kinda control my destiny more then most ppl. Randoms are so bad this year, I normally run with the community but this year I can’t. @@kingofthronez930 hard to say cuz I feel like on day 1 we didn’t realize how slow they were. Took me a while to see where the right height/speed was. In proam it’s all 7’ and 7’1. Nothing taller. Problem with 7’3 is you can’t get 75 vertical which you need for the contact standing dunks which allows you to meter dunk your standings so you’ll never get blocked
