It’s sad that so much is put on people like you to fix this. I’ve started following so many different 2k sim guys because they fix everything wrong with the game. I don’t know how people just play the vanilla version of this game without custom rosters, settings, sliders. It’s broken otherwise. Thanks for your work

Hi Popboy, I really appreciate all your work man. Quick question... when I go into 'MyGM' (not MyNBA) I can't find where I can customise all the settings as you've shown in all your 2K Settings & Sliders videos (and Doc)... it's like there's heaps missing in the MyGM Game Mode eg It looks like I can't customise the USER/CPU Sliders? Am I missing something or is this just how 2K have set MyGM up (where they don't have as much customisation as MyNBA? Thank you for any help with this. I'm a bit lost.

i always go beyond HOF.. the only problem i have with that every year is greening every open shot but i guess that may just be a skill thing.. besides that the beyond sliders always feel the best imo

Is there a specific roster I should be using these with? Played 4 games so far and I’ve only seen one team break 100 points. Other than that the gameplay and decision making looks good, just need more shots per game rn I’m seeing 70-80 per team but isn’t the league average like 80-100 or something like that?

I've only played one beyond HOF game and one CPU vs CPU, but I've gotta say I think there's not enough shooting fouls. I'm seeing a realistic amount of moving screens and reach in fouls, but in 34 points in the paint, I only saw 5 free throws and three of those were and ones. Floaters are still a bit hard to make too. Maybe a few more blocks are needed too. Other than that it feels amazing, I'm using the ATD roster if that matters.

Yeah for sure! I test them on a few different cam angles & still haven't found any difference in terms of results. The cam angle is really just personal preference/whatever suits ur eye!👍

Definitely!! I'm actually pretty annoyed with myself that I still don't have a Beyond Heisman set out by now!! I just got freaking buried in 2K slider testing. But that's super high on my list!! I'm also still testing auto-subs. There's some pretty wild theories about how they affect the actual gameplay...I just haven't found too much actual evidence to support it. That's why I've held off on those. Still wanna do more testing on them tho!! And a full slider update too!!!

Should the shot timing sync up with the layup timing?

Nah they're separate. The programming is actually pretty different for the layup meter compared to the shot meter. Doesn't really make that much sense but that's the way they did it. So I wouldn't feel like u have to use the same for both. I recommend normal for the layup one and then low for the shot one. The only thing is if ur pretty good at the shot meter, u may find it to be a little too easy to make shots. If that's the case, then I'd move up to normal for the shot timing. If u STILL feel like it's too easy to make shots, then ur pretty damn elite at the shot meter, and u could use high risk/reward for the shot timing. In any case, it's not gonna like break the sliders or anything like that! And I do think most ppl will prefer these sliders with the low shot timing👍

Nice sliders man, i turned up pass speed simply bc AI covers too much ground way too fast. They out here contesting 3s from under the rim. Not your fault just awful programming by 2k. I seriously dont understand why the contest system is SOOOOOOO GARBAGE! Non the less, thank you for your sliders!

Hey thanks my man...yeah the pass speed is something I was wrestling with quite a bit. On one hand, I wanna turn it up for the reasons u said. On the other hand, I don't want the turnover numbers to be too low. How high did u put it? And r u still getting an okay amount of deflections and steals on passes?

@ThePopboy I only played one game but I can let you know. It doesn't change much since AI knows what you're doing anyway😂. But it helped a little with late closeouts after I make smart passes to wide open people.

@ Yes, I am too, You have to go to Options -> CPU / User sliders -> It triangle -> choose the option “search by online ID” -> type in “The Popboy” and you should see all of his sets If you’re not connected to the 2K sports network, it won’t work and you’ll have to use the google doc in the description.
