Also do you think it's better to use yours or ATD's MyNBA settings when using the ATD roster? Not sure which would give the most realistic results.

Hey thank u!! Yeah there's some defensive settings I REALLY wanna get into this year!! I'm still just stunned they haven't made the pick n roll stuff better...it's just a nightmare imo. The names for the different coverages don't actually match what they do on the court🤦‍♂️ I've also been testing on the help D and off-ball screen stuff. I wanna get to it all!!

I love the sliders, the gameplay is so much better, thanks a lot for your work! One problem i have and i don't know if it is a sliders thing but the shooting foul is called often when it should be on the floor. Often times after reach in, offensive player takes an extra dribble and then pulls up and shooting foul is called. I don't know if lowering shooting foul slider would cause the foul to be a reach in foul on the floor or if the foul wouldn't be called at all.

Lol yeah it's kind of a weird concept...cpu vs cpu is simply watching 2 cpu teams play. So u put the controller in the middle when selecting teams. A lotta ppl like to do it in different situations. Like if I'm in a MyNBA and my team doesn't make the finals, sometimes I'll watch the 2 teams who did make it play. So it's really important to have good cpu vs cpu sliders...we just wanna do our best to make sure that those games that we watch don't come out all crazy compared to all the simmed games between 2 cpu's!👍

Definitely!! I'm actually pretty annoyed with myself that I still don't have a Beyond Heisman set out by now!! I just got freaking buried in 2K slider testing. But that's super high on my list!! I'm also still testing auto-subs. There's some pretty wild theories about how they affect the actual gameplay...I just haven't found too much actual evidence to support it. That's why I've held off on those. Still wanna do more testing on them tho!! And a full slider update too!!!

If u go to ur roster and click on a player (A/X), it'll bring up a box with different options like edit player, release player, etc...it should give u the option to right there to assign him to ur G-League team👍

Man I wish!! It's pretty annoying how long free throws take especially. But unfortunately there's no other way to skip them other than pressing X or A on Xbox. It really sucks on Xbox cuz it drains ur controller battery. U should be able to just turn the controller off while it plays, but u gotta leave it on just for that. Really wish there were settings to customize this for cpu vs cpu!! It goes along with my long-standing desire to have like a separate cpu vs cpu mode where we can control all kinds of other things!! Like coaching strategy stuff for each team!!!

Yeah for sure! I test them on a few different cam angles & still haven't found any difference in terms of results. The cam angle is really just personal preference/whatever suits ur eye!👍

I've only played one beyond HOF game and one CPU vs CPU, but I've gotta say I think there's not enough shooting fouls. I'm seeing a realistic amount of moving screens and reach in fouls, but in 34 points in the paint, I only saw 5 free throws and three of those were and ones. Floaters are still a bit hard to make too. Maybe a few more blocks are needed too. Other than that it feels amazing, I'm using the ATD roster if that matters.

Is there a specific roster I should be using these with? Played 4 games so far and I’ve only seen one team break 100 points. Other than that the gameplay and decision making looks good, just need more shots per game rn I’m seeing 70-80 per team but isn’t the league average like 80-100 or something like that?

As far as rosters, it's mostly preference imo. It doesn't make the sliders operate differently or anything like that. With that being said, I normally test on ATD and the official 2K roster as well. I mix in a few others here an there, but those r the main ones. Btw is this on cpu vs cpu or user vs cpu?

@@ThePopboy cpu v cpu, I think I found the problem was that teams run play tendencies in coaching game plan was too low but I’ve been messing with them and found 90 is around the sweet spot for realistic shots per game. Also been noticing there’s hardly any turnovers in the game, which isn’t a bad thing for most of the time but I’ve been messing with the defense and steal sliders to try and get more balance for players having off nights.

It's just a lack of nuance that annoys me. Know what I mean? Like that pass that's just a LITTLE bit off and goes outta bounds. Stuff like that. We don't want it sloppy or anything like that but a little more nuance would be amazing. I may do an update with increased turnover sliders. The only problem is I don't want them to get too high and diminish the playmaking. When they get too high, u definitely get fewer sweet plays...the kinda plays that make it fun to watch!! However, I do think we can increase them a little more in an effort to get a few more turnovers. It's a balancing act as usual!!

@@ThePopboyyeah I feel that, I’ve been trying to up steal success and tendency the most to try and keep the playmaking aspect there but I’m still not seeing what I’d like too, then ofc theres some problems with the game itself you just can’t fix like players pivoting and accidentally stepping out of bounds or or straight up dribbling out of bounds when driving baseline. The sliders keep it to a minimum but Ronny is really making it hard on us lol. Also tried upping offensive rebound sliders and needing defensive rebound because I don’t think I had a single game where either team had double digit offensive boards. Other than that I think this is about as good as it gets all things considered lol

Should the shot timing sync up with the layup timing?

Nah they're separate. The programming is actually pretty different for the layup meter compared to the shot meter. Doesn't really make that much sense but that's the way they did it. So I wouldn't feel like u have to use the same for both. I recommend normal for the layup one and then low for the shot one. The only thing is if ur pretty good at the shot meter, u may find it to be a little too easy to make shots. If that's the case, then I'd move up to normal for the shot timing. If u STILL feel like it's too easy to make shots, then ur pretty damn elite at the shot meter, and u could use high risk/reward for the shot timing. In any case, it's not gonna like break the sliders or anything like that! And I do think most ppl will prefer these sliders with the low shot timing👍

The CPU controlled teams score way too high. League leader is near 140ppg no matter who's slider i use. Yours is the best gameplay wise but the sim stuff is broken

Going to post here too just incase. And Popboy i mean all of this with nothing but love but Im really hoping someone is having similar issues. Bro I typically LOVE your sliders every year but something is wrong. I was on All Star with zero sliders, minimal issues, All Star your sliders IMMEDIATE issues. Went to Pro your sliders issues still persists. Have Low Risk on as well. Can't hit a shot to save my life. Consistently miss layup or shots 1-3 ft from the basket. What is going on? This is the first time I have ever questioned your sliders set n I have been using them for YEARS Currenty have a vid that just happened where I airballed a layup. You heard that righr, airballed a layup....
