It's very good if you're not using meter but also you can dunk with a 55 driving dunk and even get dunk alley oops

Short point guards get catered to slashing wise. I feel people that are skilled and have high ratings get capped out against bums. Those same players can chuck up anything in the paint and get rewarded for it. Pro play is inconsistent. It ain’t you. If they want you to miss or lose there’s algorithms in the game designed to do so.

It’s all about your speed toward the rim. If you can’t trigger a speed boost and get stuck in mud speed you’ll get kicked out every time. Guards are just much easier to get that speed

it works of the same contest system as shooting. so when you start the animation depending on where the defender is will result in being able to dunk or getting the dunks that are impossible to make

It's strength dependent. I got one build with 85 strength and one with 73. The 73 strength player gets bumped out of dunk animations a lot. But the 85 strength player finishes really well. FYI they are the same height. TLDR: Strength matters a lot for contact dunk.

Your dunk animations are key. Some dunk packages cause you to get taken out of contact dunks. Also dunker’s momentum to the hoop and having a little takeover bar or 2 helps.

Gold poster gives you more contact dunks. So if you want to dunk more just get gold, if you want cooler animations go for the off two cause the elite is miles better then the pro

I have a PG with gold posterizer and am having a hard time posterizing. I do the same release and if it's a hard contact it either goes very early or very late. do you have any suggestions towards the technique and/or build/badge wise to be more successful?

Too many variables for this to be considered accurate. We don't know if the buff is because of the increase in attributes or badges based on the way you all did it. Could've went 99 driving dunk and then tested each level to isolate variables.

no you dont because 2klabs tests the badge levels at the corresponding attribute requirement. so the boost will be less than in their graph

+1 badge boost you above your current ability but it’s not the same as having the required attributes. My 87 post powerhouse with plus+ to get it HOF, doesn’t move the same as my 93 post powerhouse that get HOF without plus+.

Those dunks on a 3v3 court are not impressive. You get hella room in that situation. I have 2 builds with 99 driving dunk. If I had to do it over again I would have kept it between 90 and 93. Legend posterizer is not worth it imo. I don’t mind missing dunks with it but totally getting taken out of your dunk animation is crazy and it happens too often in this game. Some legend badges are just not tuned properly. I have legend off ball pest on one of my other builds and I hate that badge. The badge automatically makes you reach multiple times during a possession. If my player is not constantly reaching for the ball he’s jumping in the passing lanes. Again it’s automatic. Something that should not be in the game.

Im curious, about off-ball pest, are you sure you don't have the right stick drift? I never heard a single complaint about "auto reaches" coming from a badge. Now I can confirm Stick Drift in your controller will do exactly what you're talking about because I had a controller with Drift in the right stick, but a badge causing that idk. Please anyone else chime in as well I could be wrong 🤷🏾‍♂️

@@theprankmasta It’s definitely not stick drift. Any time a player from the other team is close to me when I’m on defense myplayer reaches or jumps even if I don’t touch anything on the controller. They are all involuntary movements. Maybe it’s just on Xbox. I’ve gotten steals that I didn’t initiate in some instances and in others it puts me out of defensive position. I’m not a X button or right stick abuser by no means. I’m more the type of player that’s stays irritatingly close to whomever I’m defending. I usually get steals from an arrant pass or the person I’m defending running into me while dribbling. It still could be the controller because I have some things remapped. Like I have one of my right stick shooting movements remapped to the left trigger. I may be getting a double input or something. Hopefully I’ll figure it out because I can’t remove the badge lol. That’s not an option.
