Steve Nash made his career playing basketball - but seeing his insane football skill moves Joltter was conviced Steve could’ve become a professional soccer player aswell, which is something they discuss in this video aswell. To finish of his visit at Steve Nash’s house, Joltter gets to play basketball with the NBA legend and learn tips on how to become a better basketball player!
Steve Nash is a former professional basketball player who was an eight-time NBA All-Star and was named the NBA MVP, Most Valuable Player, twice in his career while playing for the Phoenix Suns. In today's video we visit Steve Nash at his house in Los Angeles to see his amazing football boot collection and find our more about his other huge sporting passion: soccer. Growing up Steve was an active kid whose main sport was actually soccer and as surprising as it may sound, Steve Nash first started playing basketball at the age of 13. From there on the ball kept rolling and Nash ended up becoming one of the biggest basketball legends in the history of NBA.
Although Steve Nash had an incredible career in basketball, he has never been shy to admit his huge passion for soccer. Steve Nash is a lifelong Tottenham Hotspurs fan and has actually trained with the team on multiple occasions - sharing the pitch with professional football players like Harry Kane, Dele Alli and Christian Eriksen. Nash is no stranger to football though, and while visiting his house in Los Angeles, we got to see what kind of football skills Steve Nash has in his locker. Watch the video now to see the amazing football skills of Steve Nash along with his epic football boot collection including match-worn football boots from Ronaldinho, Samuel Eto’o and Zinedine Zidane!

Basketball was my first sport at 7yrs and Steve was the reason. He was like Iniesta or David Silva the way he dribbles and passes. When my height couldn’t qualify for basketball I saw Silva play and it was like watching Steve. I fell in love with futbol since then and now I play division1 soccer in uni. Thanks Unisport for this video. 💙

He, Kobe and other non-American (Euros, South Americans etc.) NBA players definitely have some football skills.
@iMadrid11
@iMadrid11 6 жыл бұрын
True. Basketball is like a backup sport for Europeans and South Americans. Since it’s much harder to make it as a Pro in those countries where competition in football is so massive. That’s why it’s valuable for naturally athletic kids to learn multiple sport disciplines for their development. They can pick and decide to specialize to a sport later on when the opportunity presents itself. Dirk Nowitzki can you imagine was a Handball and Tennis player. Gareth Bale played Rugby, Hockey and Athletics.

Tremendous video! Steve Nash is one the most unique legendary athletes having the ability to go pro in both sports, but he dominated basketball and for a short white guy around players like Kobe, Shaq, Allen iverson, Dwayne wade, dirk, he was still able to be better then all of them for a brief period with 2x mvp which is absolutely nuts! I have always been curious about his football side of stories, so thank you for another great video!
