Especially a job that’s paying you millions of dollars. I’m sorry but I’ll be “that guy” EVERYTIME. Oh you’re down 30, and just stopped playing..? Okay thanks for the wide open 3 or wide open dunk. These sports with their "unwritten rules". Let's just stick to the written rules. If you're losing the game you can give up whenever you want, but you shouldn't expect the other team to stop trying just because they've already beaten you. Even if you're 40 points up with 10 seconds left, steal that ball, take it down the court and windmill it through the hoop.
@Blaze420203 жыл бұрын
It’s just a waste of time specially when niggas who do nothing the whole game get like there 3rd total basket at the end and then flex like they hot shit after getting carried. Honestly if ur up by 5 or more there’s no need to score in the last 10 seconds. Anything under that yeah widen the score but there’s no point. If ur telling me teams can consistently drop a 3 foul have the winning team miss both shots and then get another bucket to tie then yeah don’t risk it but when does that ever happen. If the gap isn’t one three or 2 twos it just isn’t gonna get closed in that little time tbh most of the time.
@MrGundawindy3 жыл бұрын
@@Blaze42020 It's a waste of time? They are there until the clock runs out anyway, so how is it a waste of time? It provides entertainment, which really is the only purpose of the game. It may also serve to demoralise the opposition team. This could go two ways though, it could give you an advantage when you next play them, but it might also encourage a greater effort from them. Also, there has been occasions where teams have closed a 6 point gap in 10 seconds or less. It may be rare, but it has happened. But the main point is, if the team that are losing are going to give up, they should just walk off, or there should be some mechanism where they can surrender. If they are still there playing, then the team that is winning should also keep playing and trying to win.
@ricobarth3 жыл бұрын
@@MrGundawindy It reminds me of the Brady revenge tour, when the Pats ran up the score against the Skins. When a reporter asked a defensive back whether he objected to them running up the score, he just sneered at the guy: "I'm a grown man. If we have a problem with it, we should stop them!"
