I would normally say he still needs to put in more work/time/accomplishments before even considering any level of GOAT talk - however I remember Magic Johnson's effect on the NBA and it feels very similar but Doncic is doing it with far more defense and runs the team even faster than the lake show was able to sustain but does it on his own slower pace. It's remarkable because the whole team can get involved because they know what's coming. When we talk GOAT all the players with the exception of Bird, were scorers first with a very strong iso game. He's what Magic could have been if Magic had an outside shot, if Kobe had rebounding ability, if LeBron and Jordan passed like true guards and if any of the great PG's had his height or an unblockable shot like Kareem or Hakeem. Luka could actually be the GOAT. However, I have to admit to thinking that if Shaq could develop an outside shot he was going to be the GOAT for sure, but we all know how that turned out... he never even developed a free throw. Luka magic is real and he is livening up the stoic Lebron era NBA. F&^# Skip Bayless, Kendrick Perkins , Kenny Anderson and the BLM scam... Luka should get at least 5 MVPs in his career and should have gotten it this year even though Jokic deserved the "make up call" this year for not getting it last season. The biggest threat to Luka's reign will be Wemby and his upside looks unstoppable. We could have a Texas shootout regularly for seasons to come now.

Ummm, you can be a LeBron fan, but he is absolutely NOT a better passer than Luka. LeBron may have the vision, but the passes Luka routinely casually makes are insane. Been watching basketball for over 45 years, & Luka makes passes I've never seen ANYONE make before. A 3/4 court alley-oop? Ridiculous.

No one, not even LD will overtake MJ as the GOAT. Two 3-peats, and didn’t play for 18 months. His determination to come back and prove to everyone all over again he is the GOAT, now that’s something to write about. Just watch The Last Dance, that’s all the reinforcement you’ll need. And I’m not even a Bulls fan. Luka is a gifted player, but bad knees at age 25, his turning professional at a very young will take its toll.

Luka is a great player BUT people keep forgetting that it takes a TEAM to win games , and reasons WHY LUKA has high #s is that the rest of the opposing team are doubling on KYRIE , since KYRIE joined the MaVs alot have change. I hope Luka get at least ONE RING , many great players in the pass did not even get ONE RING , ....thankful BUCKS GIANNIS got ONE , I have said this over and over "SINCE 2019-2020 IF LUKA HAD JOINED BUCKS GIANNIS THEY WOULD HAVE 4 maybe 5 NBA FINAL RINGS. Pass 7-8 years the NBA is having alot alot of super great high flying and amazing shooters of ALL TIME , many many have great discipline (you need #1 key champion is discipline) , NOWADAYS NEED AT LEAST 3 Superstars in a TEAM to win finals , the LAST TIME WHERE ONLY ONE SUPERSTAR needed to win a final was BUCKS GIANNIS who in no question carried the whole team on getting a NBA FINAL's RING.
