One of the first video games I ever played. I have the GameCube version. Still have my original copy. Something I did with this game was to mess with the rosters so that they’d come as close to the actual final rosters from that season, since online roster updates didn’t exist then. You can get pretty close with the players available.

Bro this game was so cold ! True story… this game was so cold that we didn’t play another basketball game until 2k9 dropped! my pops would make me look up the current rosters at school. He would be like: “Write down the names of all the new players you see and write down their stats” I would do like 6 teams a day. If they were new players, we would create them and make up stats but keep it average like 77-82. Bwoi imagine if we did that now 😂 that would be crazy! But not bad either cause these 2k games suck now
