This brings back a lot of memories, thanks for posting it. Out of all the games I got for Christmas with my Playstation this was the first game I had to put in and I was just in awe. I wore this game out playing it and I couldn't get enough year after year in each evolution. Great times!

I have all nba games for ps1 and i only play these old ones i don't have any newer nba games than these for ps1 and, i and my little brother have always blast to play these games against each others we just played nba 98 live last night and im glad that because of my large game collection my little brother also appreciate really much old games too and he is only 12 years old 👍🏻

The NBA 2K games we have today are superior only in the graphics department. I had so much fun with NBA Live on PS1. One button to pass. One button to shoot. One button to jump. One button to steal. Playing basketball today is like playing wrestling games where you have to input the correct button sequence to be able to perform the most menial of moves. Plus, I actually knew who those players were back then.

Exactly my thoughts simpler controls = more fun i only have every nba games for ps1 not any newer nba games and still have so much fun for playing these against my littlebrother who is 12 years old 👍🏻

There are 2 MAJOR glitches in this game that most don’t know about. 1) If you hit the player immediately after passing the ball, the ball goes out of bounds 100% of the time. 2) You can pump-fake from the 3pt line to underneath the basket without traveling called, and “force” a layup that NEVER gets blocked.
