Today was the day that Kobe Bryant tragically passed away with his daughter when his helicopter crashed. Since the news broke it's hard for me to see a video of Kobe without tearing up a little. At the end of the video where Kobe thanks his wife and embraces his daughters, you can tell how much they care for one another. I was born in Lowell, Massachusetts and have been an avid Boston Celtics fan my whole life but for the first time in my life, I support Lakers Nation, Kobe, and the Mamba Mentality. RIP Kobe.

At the time, his team was young and they were not really getting any respect from the refs when it came to the whistle defensively or offensively. They ended up losing that series and so this was his postgame speech after the last game.

And to clarify the players were young because I believe this was the year that Grizzlies players were getting hurt at an alarming rate so they had to keep signing players to replace the injured ones and they ended up with the most players ever on a team roster in a single year. I think it was 25.
