Lol. Yep. Funny thing is.. I was a kid in middle school living in Portland, but recently moved their from So. California , and all the kids in my school were talking smack.. and this was the only game I ever watched, but it was actually pumped while watching this one. Still in my memory bank til this day lol

Always said that really opened the door for Jordan. I think the Lakers would've made a move to get Barkley in 92-93, had Magic still been around.

@@shaunphillips3236He found out during the preseason. The Lakers had landed in Salt Lake City for an exhibition game with the Jazz but as soon as the Lakers entered the arena, they received a call from the team doctor saying that Magic had to return to LA immediately although he didn't specify as to why since he wanted to discuss the matter in person. Man, that plane ride back to LA must have felt like an eternity for Magic. Just imagine what must have been going through his mind.

Brillant play by Magic at 14:14 to just throw the ball to the other end to let the clock run out.

@@redpillfreedom6692 factz lml. The thing with Magic's play is he saw it was nobody at the other end of the court and tossed it. Vlade tapped it like volleyball or something right in Big Shot Rob's hands and the rest is history. He should just grabbed the board for safety

Not sure what game you're watching, but Magic is by far the best player out there, he gets double teamed from the second quarter on, while the Lakers don't double team Drexler much if at all. Magic giving out assists and obviously making his teammates better, also Magic's stat line in this game is better than Clyde's in points, rebounds and assists, plus his team won the game. Even the announcer mentioned that Clyde was off in this game

Up until he was about 27 , he would tomahawk some dunks now and then. Granted he wasn’t way over the rim. Magics hands 🙌 are the size of Pizzas 🍕 and he threw down quite a bit before his knee’s started hurting .

Portland went one more game further vs Chicago in 1992 than the Lakers did in 1991 much like the two Pistons championship years before Chicago's reign in 1989 and 1990 and yes they choked harder than the Blazers of 2000. @@melvynsngltn27

Drexler One of the most uneven and overhyped all-stars from golden era. Here are his stats: gm3 18 pts, 35% fg gm4 14pts 37,5% fg gm5 19pts 38,9% fg And you have an answer why the Blazers "suprisingly" lost that series, despite being a favourites with a home-court advantage. And he hadn't compete with MJ

Name one player not named Jordan that was better than him at shooting guard at the time. Clyde also had a garbage team and he carried them to *two* finals, how many did Jordan carry *without* Pippen?
@dewygreen4646
@dewygreen4646 Жыл бұрын
@@benyah3390 "Clyde also had a garbage team" That's a popular myth, intended to distract attention from Drexler's poor performance on the court during most important games. Paradox here is... yes, Drexler's balanced all-around play dragged the Blazers on the top from 1990 to 1992, but also... his, at least very, very moderate offensive performances during most important games, meant that the Blazers ultimately did not win anything, and instead they were remembered for their annual, mental inability for competition at the highest level (Clyde's mentality included) Also, being second SG only after Jordan, in the era of forwards and centers not saying much

@@shaunphillips3236 Or I could be your age and knows what actual talent is comparative to their relative competition. Take Clyde off that squad and they may not even make the playoffs. Now in *your* opinion, they were good; to *me* Porter, Robinson, and Kersey were "ok" at best. That's *my* opinion just like you have *your's* , now let's leave it at that.
