shaq deadass doesn't know anything, how did he not know the Pistons had a winning record and then deflected onto chuck and kenny when they're not here to defend themselves

Better idea: Only let people into the All Star game if they plan on trying. If they don't try this year kick them out. Even if that means stopping people like Jokic from being there. If they don't wanna be there why give them it.

Because the All star game is to celebrate the best performers of the regular season.. Every moment of these guys existence isn’t meant to entertain you.

@@369pendulum 1) The NBA is an entertainment company. Those who play in the league are entertainers. 2) Even if you didn't consider them entertainers, All Star week is purely for entertainment. 3) The players should also celebrate being the best by trying at All Stars. Instead they mock the league and the fans who paid to see them. I'd even go so far as to saying if you don't try at All Stars you don't deserve MVP. Sportsmanship is a factor and not trying at All Stars is being a bad sport.

@@dragonrings14 I agree that it’s all entertainment based, but if what entertains you is competitive basketball then the All Star game isn’t what you should be watching. The all star game is & always has been about dunks & fancy plays and a somewhat competitive last few minutes. That’s all. I doubt that the league even wants these dudes to play hard, they just want fans like you to stop complaining.
@dragonrings14

@369pendulum They want fans to not complain... Because they want our money. It is in the NBA's best interest to have a good product. You make it sound like I'm asking for playoff level competitive spirit. I'm just asking for the same level of competition they give a random game during the season. Because they haven't even been giving it that. And the 8 man tournament is dumb. Just do East vs West but have it that if the players don't wanna try, they dont go. I don't give a crap if Jokic, SGA and Giannis are the best. If they cbfd putting in an effort then bye. You don't deserve to be an All Star and not give a f.

@@dragonrings14 The thing is that it’s always been that way.. Go watch old all star games, they’re on the internet. 8/10 they lolly gag most of the game. The all star game is supposed to be reminiscent of a street ball game, or an And 1/Harlem Globe Trotters game to be more specific. It’s just to see your favorite players have fun. These dudes play 80+ games during the season, why is that not enough? All star weekend in itself is about the festivities & celebration of the game. The All star game isn’t even the lynchpin of the weekend, it makes more sense to complain about the dunk contest. The All star game really only means something to the players trying to prove themselves, other than that the game means nothing. But to your point that’s why the NBA is implementing adding winners of the Rookie v Sophomore game because they may actually care. The 8 man thing will make things a bit more fun, I guarantee to you. Don’t think I don’t understand where you’re coming from but you gotta understand the position of the players.

For all-star I don't mind narrative and storyline. Cade Cunningham should absolutely be an all-star. His team went from lik 17 wins to a projected 44 wins. He is by far the best player on that team. Remember in 2023, when the kings won 48 games, they got 2 all-stars. Acknowledge the fact they're finally good, it's a great story.

so ? that says more about the lack of quality in the NBA to turn those "CASUAL" fans into regular fans who tune in to watch games everyday while they eat breakfast in countries like India back when Kobe was running the show. You upset that the league dont got that pull anymore ?

Cade has been going off. It’s crazy because if more people watched him they would like him. People cry about all the threes being shot, the flopping and crying to the refs and Cade doesn’t do any of that. Just goes out and ball and he cares about the game. If major networks gave him more shine he’d blow up. He’s exciting to watch too.

Cade is @$$ without the 3 vet shooters... He is -2.7 per 100 possession if he plays. Overrated

Ca e Cunningham doesnt deserve a spot. It has taken the newly added veterans Tobias Harris, Malik Beasley and THJ to get the Pistons back on track. Without them Ca e was never able to move the needle 🪡 His numbers are pretty much the same as last years. He has only improved by 1 more pt, 2 rebs and 2 ast. Most of the Pistons opponents were forced to play with one armed tied behind their backs (Star/Key players sitting out).

Man stop. None of those guys are big names. That’s why they ended up in Detroit. When we won in 04 it was the same way. We made those guys all stars. I can tell you don’t watch the pistons. ESPN ranked him like 60 in the NBA or something and he been going off. If you watch the games you notice a clear difference in him. This is the problem. Y’all don’t watch the pistons. So he’ll never get a fair shake but his game is so refreshing man. No flops, no crying to the refs, just a walking bucket. Dude has a fire inside this season. End of convo.

Its having an actual coach in jb thats transitioning the teams into winning games. The spacing the shooters bring is amazing but cade is what makes this team click. Go actually watch the games.
