Remember back when the nba was entertaining to watch?

I would always rather watch this dozens of times over any of today's games, so glad I could witness this golden age of NBA and bball and watch all these great players battle it night in and night out as genuine superstars 💪

Knicks were definitely winning this series if they weren't derailed by the suspensions.

Yup

That’s true, but you can say the same the next year when Mourning had to miss the deciding game in Miami.
@coreyrowe411910 күн бұрын
@@R.POliver can't argue there, Miami probably beats the Ewing-less Knicks if Zo didn't get suspended for game 5.

@@coreyrowe4119 It's amazing to think that from 1998-2000 Miami had 5 chances to eliminate NY and lost all 5. Not even 1-4!

classic rivalry...i still think if the suspensions neva happened, NY wins this series in 6 games and go on to face the Bulls for another classic playoff clash. I still obviously had the Bulls wining the ECF regardless, but the Knicks I think woulda put up more of a fight than Miami did and prob woulda went 6 or 7. Miami wasn't quite ready for that stage imo

I don't want to read again that at that time the referees let people play more than now. They didn't let them play at all.

Knicks vs Heat in those days was a powder keg. If you Play around a powder keg with matches, there's gonna be an explosion. & there was. Pat Riley quit as the Knicks coach to be the coach and gm of the Heat. He sent in his resignation via Fax. You could see everything brewing in this game. Everything exploded in the next 2
