No, neither of those two guys had a more impactful death on professional sports history... no one kows who Senna is, and Mohammad Ali was sick for a while before he passed away. Kobe Bryant was 100% healthy, with his daughter and a helicopter that never crashes suddenly crashed and killed everyone spontaneously. Odds are almost slim to none. This is by far the most horrific, and impactful sports deaths in sports history, if not the most impactful by far. Mohammad Ali still not even close to this horrific tragedy.

I can’t even imagine what Kobe’s wife thinks right know. She just lost her husband, AND her daughter in the same place and same time. And for everybody who is says that “I can’t imagine what they were thinking” and stuff, I will just tell u how they died: so on a helicopter, you can go really really slow. (15 mph slow) most of the people who were flying helicopters that day were going very slow because it was veryyy foggy. Kobe’s pilot, was going 180 mph. Basically he didn’t see this mountain, and he just ran into it. It was a quick death. There wasn’t like a whole movie scene where it’s like: “we’re going down!!!” And stuff. This stuff is very sad and you should be educated before saying stuff. Rip Kobe 💛💜

Mark Daniel Not true, when people toss a paper ball into a trash can and yell out Kobe it’s pretty obvious how influential he’s been to a lot of people who love the game of basketball. As well as the players he’d been molding into better players at his camps even after retirement. He was one of the few players regardless of their own competitive nature that gave that back in teaching to others in the same game.

With all respect, I'm against unconditionally idealizing people. Kobe was not perfect. He may have done some bad shit a long time ago that probably had something to do with his early, isolated years in the NBA. But I do have the sense that in recent years he was working to be as good a person as he possibly could-- and that a big part of that was trying to make sure that no one else like him had to go through those same years alone. He should be celebrated for that even more than for winning at all costs. I think he became a true hero when he began to accept that there had been costs, and started to do something about it.

And those kids that have cancer, instead of talking about them, what r u doing to help them huh? Have u even shed a tear for them? Have u donated to help cancer kids? Alright then. Get yourself together first. Don't use cancer kids for the sake of an argument, that's weak. U wouldn't even talk about them or think about them till now. 41 is early and there's no way around it buddy. Maybe in ur mind there is, but that's y we're glad we can't read people's minds, cuz nobody cares about yours. Plain and simple. Kobe died too soon, get this through ur thick head. I had the pleasure of being person friends with Kobe for over 15 years. Working for a sports network in Los Angeles Kobe was one of the first guys to welcome "the new guy" to the team by dropping a bucket of water on my head while I was running cables. Dude was a real one. He was a bit difficult to get to know at first but once he found a connection with you he was a someone who would always welcome you like family. I remember him bringing his daughter to staples when she could barely walk. I've got so many great Kobe memories it was an absolute honor to be able to get to know a man like that. Before Kobe started getting into helicopters we talked frequently about it. He knew I had a private pilots license and I used to always tell him to get a plane I am scared of helicopters. The dude just had such a thirst for knowledge whether it was cars, sports, and especially basketball. We would talk about cars and basketball while he was shooting around at midnight and we clearing equipment from the game. Always the last guy off the court if he had a bad night (which was usually a 20 point double double for him) and his work ethic used to rub off on all of us on the production team. I remember the most the day I got promoted and was moved from NBA to NASCAR. Kobe visited to studio one day for an interview and came over to my office and gave me a big hug and we sat around talking with the NASCAR announcing team about the upcoming race season. Kobe loved racing and he of course knew everything about it. Last time I saw Kobe was about 3 years ago and he walked over with the biggest smile on his face to say hello. We didn't talk long but its the last visual memory I have of him. The world lost a great man who learned from his mistakes and grew up to become a great human being. RIP my friend!

Luxxury even though you were asking him I’m gonna answer. Basically they were stating that the reason the plane crashed was because of fog in which is considered low visibility conditions for someone to be flying especially cause the police even had put their helicopters up because of bad flying conditions

I knew one of the people that was also on the helicopter. It was a girl in my grade that I had 3 classes with. She was on Kobe’s club basketball team and their families were really good friends. So sad, rest easy everyone on that helicopter 😭😢😖
