The thing that gets overlooked the most is that D Rose never reached his prime, he was just climbing when he got injured, MVP D Rose was the best we saw, but he could have been so much better than anyone else.

That's a very good point. We only say that was prime D Rose because that's how far he got, but his ceiling was much higher still. In my opinion, given another couple of years without injury he would have been the only player ever who could match, or even surpass MJs showmanship. It was only fitting he was with the Bulls. Things happen for a reason the fact that derrick rose was positive throughout all of this he went through and never gave up is why he is the most loved player in the world right now and still in the league and just released another signature shoe . Humbleness and positiveness can come a long way . Not quite true. Rose dealt with nagging injuries during his pre-ACL years with the Bulls and battled through injuries during the playoffs matches against the Pacers, Hawks and Heat. I'm a big Wolves fan. When he made his come-back with us he was the best player on the court. His minutes were limited so he didn't get the attention he deserved from media (well, and the media doesn't pay attention to the Wolves). His points per minute played ratio was insane. His 50 pt game with us was just because he played more minutes than normal. He was a lot better a player during that time than most realize. Other stars commented on it, LeBron said it

MJ and Kobe are both 1.98. Rose is 1.88. Assuming wingspan is equal to height for argument's sake. So D-Rose has to fall an EXTRA 10cm +5cm =15cm after every dunk compared to the above mentioned legends, who noticeably dunked less in the 2nd half of their careers. Had DRose remained healthy, there wouldn't ever be a debate about who was the best of all time. His time from a rookie to his ACL injury was so short, but yet so memorable. He knew no fear. He'd dunk on 7' players and think nothing of it. I'm 75 years old and he was the best I've ever seen.

Lots of players will have injuries as most want to pattern their games on dribbling alot, between the legs etc (example is Kobe) most players today are not to great with their off the ball movement as they all want to showcase taking on players...will eventually catch up with your legs/ankles. Jordan was the prime example as a very good off the ball player...creating space with minimal play and dribble.

Real fans and Mad haters of Rose know it. His VERSATILITY on the court is second to none. From his MVP up to this day, he can do it all. Team asks him to slash his way to the paint to create chaos and havoc and turn that to offense, he'll DELIVER!. He can also defend pretty darn well! His humility is also plus. He's a good example of a great teammate. It's just that when he's playing. you just don't know how to deal with him because of his high basketball IQ, he's always adjusting on the fly in a glimpse of second. Go get that RING DRose!

This video is real af love it, Derrick rose is the biggest what if in sports history still one of the best point guard to ever play the game and now hes with the knicks hes doing more big things this man has already had one hell of a career i thank god for athletes like him because he’s setting an example for me and letting me know that nothing is impossible regardless of how bad may be in the moment its about how you finish the race not how you start and i truly believe Derrick Rose end of career will be greater than the beginning and i think he will get his championship because i know God rewards hard work and perseverance hes walked through the fire many times over his time to be at the top of the world again is coming and i he will be the finals MVP mark my words
