The league has never gotten worse over time. These guys work their asses off to improve every offseason, and yet they still get replaced by new talent. The game is miles better than what it was 30 years ago from a skill standpoint

People remember towering, overpowering, slow and methodical Shaq. Young Shaq had all of that but also agility, quickness, and a decisive 2nd gear of explosiveness off the fast break. He was and is a physical freak and few were suited to that era of basketball big man quite like Shaq

shaq was so slim in the 1990s. He really bulked up and got bigger during the championship runs. he moved better when he was younger. but could not be guarded at all with his increased bulk circa 2000

People were saying the same about Rose back then - he had nothing on, say, Isiah Thomas’s handles, Isiah just couldn’t carry. The reality is that players just become more skilled over time

I had an amazing dream.
