@@cdgates1 Considering the fact that many people have written him off saying stuff like "he's past his prime (he's old), he's injury prone, he's washed up, he can't perform at high level anymore, he's has a 'bad' contract," and yet he's still performing at high level, being a vintage CP3, he is leading a young thunder team to the playoffs (currently the 5th seed) and teaching them how to win, his teammates are very fond of him, was an ALL STAR, and not mention LEADING THE LEAGUE IN CLUTCH POINTS this season. I would say he had earned that contract.

For me, what's so cool about Chris Paul is that he's pretty much a local boy to me because he's from Winston-Salem, NC and played for his local ACC team Wake Forest and put them at the top of the national rankings for the first time in school history while he was there. And even after he left Wake Forest, he is still making history. To me, he'll always be a Demon Deacon.
