Been a Pistons fan since birth & will be for life, but I wouldn't be surprised if the Celtics, Bobcats, Wizards, Pistons & any other team in the East that hasn't made the playoffs in awhile made some noise for the playoff hunt this season.

The couldn't use the exact old logo because it was part of the agreement they made to get the name back so they had to make changes to it. I like that they are going back to the hornets. I'm sure the fans in Charlotte are happy to rock their Teal and Purple apparel again.

Bobcats don't suck. They just had the worst season ever two years ago, that's it. They are a decent looking team. If you say they suck then you have absolutely no clue abut the nba. Knicks actually suck! If you're confused: Franchise 1 - Charlotte Hornets joined NBA in the late 80s. Moved to New Orleans, this year they changed the name to 'Pelicans' Franchise 2 - Charlotte Bobcats joined the NBA in the mid 2000s since they had no team there anymore. Now they are changing the name to 'Hornets' cause of the city's history with that franchise name. They were very popular and the jersey was selling very good. Conclusion: Charlotte Hornets 2014 ain't the true original Hornets. Thes just want to refresh the franchise cause of the unfortunately not so popular bobcats record. Actually they are called bobcats cause of their former owner whom first name was 'bob'...

Kobe got drafted by charlotte hornets back in 96. He never wore a hornets jersey at all because they traded kobe to LAKERS for vlade divac right after. Its the same thing like nerlens noel got drafted by pelicans but traded to philly. He never played for them.

Charlotte hornets moved to New orleans in 2002. Charlotte bobcats was an expansion franchise in 2004. The New Orleans hornets changed their name to the pelicans. The bobcats are changing their name to the Hornets for the fans. So technically, the Original hornets are now the Pelicans.
