That’s why you should never judge a player by his team’s success. Kemba on the hornets would drop 50 on any given night but people wrote him off because he was on the trash ass hornets with literally not one above average player on his squad. Don’t say Nick Batum or Jeremy Lamb were good players or you’re automatically a casual. Players like Bradley Beal can come into a team like the Sixers and be one of the best players and have them as a top 2 seed. Because beals team is trash he was robbed of even an all-star spot. Years like when Kobe averaged 35 and was scoring 50 every other game but was robbed of MVP because of his shitty fucking team is unfair. Put kobe on the suns with nash and then what happens? Suns would have won the title and kobe would have easily been the alpha dog on that team. Yes winning is a big part of someone’s legacy but if you have a team like the kemba’s hornets, beal’s wizards, or Kobe’s lakers from 04-06, then you should not be fucking downgraded for having a shit team. It’s really ridiculous man
