its happened before, curry did the exact same thing years ago and it looked like iggy touched it, but he didnt so possession goes to the opposite team. thats the strat that u pretty much have to do with 0.1 or 0.2 seconds left. i think that there is a rule that a shot can only be attempted with 0.3 or more seconds left, otherwise it has to be a tip in. like u only have time to tap the ball in the hoop. there is a really famous backwards tap shot with 0.2 seconds left on shot clock against okc thunder. quite funny

I say this as a Celtics fan that had their heart broken by this team last year: Games like this are why we are NOT winning a chip. This year or likely the next. Compared to teams with real heart and grit, it just feels like we don't stack up when it counts. Let alone Jokic and the Nugs that we most likely will face if we somehow make it to the finals. Something just isn't right. I don't think this team has that winning DNA and these regular season wins feel hollow.

If u shoot the ball 44 times imma need 60 at least bruh. I'm thinking about the long game. We can't overhype them cuz they beat the number 1 team who have nothing to play for now. Boston has got to trade Tatum, his era has been a bit of disappointment. He's great but there's a difference between great players who take teams to playoffs, And then there's players who take their team to winning championships, Tatum has not done that yet, and quite frankly I don't think he can. Celtic's are running out of steam before the playoff, very disheartening to see them play like this, looks like they will be elaminated in the first round of the playoff.

All these Boston fans saying Celtics were not trying. If they were not trying why play your starters? You really want to be playing porzingus with his injury history?

I dont know, honestly, how the celtics, both players and coaching staff, can go back to their quarters, sit and watch tape, and think that THIS is the best way to execute down the stretch in games. I truly hope they were trying not to show their hand and show all of their strategies, but if i know my team, this is their ONLY strategy 😩

The Boston Celtics reminds me of the Chicago Bulls team that had Derrick Rose and every year people would say they are a contender and every year the Chicago Bulls never fails to disappoint you. The Chicago Bulls would always be the 1 seed only to get bounced by Lebron James or lose to a number 8 seed the following year and they were the team people would say are a contender when they were actually pretenders. The Boston Celtics had the easiest path to get to the NBA Finals last year struggle to get past a 8 seed to this same Atlanta Hawks team, struggled against an injured Philly team and in the Conference Finals lose 3 straight games to the Miami Heat losing in the Conference Finals. This year is going to be a familiar trend. I don't care if they have the highest point differentials of any team or in the history of the game or even if they win 67 games for the season. This team has a serious problem that has not been addressed and that is their late game woes. The first sign was when they played the Indiana Pacers in the In Season tournament how they were leading for nearly 3 quarters only to blow their lead and lose a close game that they should have won. Then they lose to a Lakers squad with no Lebron, and AD which they should have crushed the Lakers and showed signs of not caring to compete, no chemistry, and mental breakdown in the 4th quarter. You lose to a Hawks team with a 30 point lead in the first game and even lose in regulation no OT and lose another close game in when they should have crushed them at least revenge the last game you played them since 30 point lead was blown. These are the type of games that I look at and say this team is another team with no real championship pedigree. They look good on paper, but they lack the mental execution to close out games they should easily win and there will be similar games like this in the playoffs that may determine how they go far. Sometimes it always "well its just one game" its really how you lose the game that can determine how far a team goes.

Something off on the celtics, they have arguably the most talented starting 5 ever, having excellent players on offense and defense but they dont feel as dominant as they should. And I feel like its tatum, hes probably the best individual player there but something doesnt work with him on the celtics, its like the celtics and most of people want him to be something that he doesnt fit the role

I think theres various teams who should trade for luka, but if Im the celtics Im going for him. With white holiday brown and this version of kp, without him needing to score 40, giving passes all day, I mean, it would be awesome
