Fr they're changing their narrative now😂 remember the narrative luka can't play with other stars😂 when in reality KP was always injured and wasn't doing his job properly, even though he's doing them now against the celtics. With Brunson we all know he left because FO screwed up big time, and his dad just happens to work for knicks so I'm not sure what they're saying about that. They also gotta remember, Dinwiddie was playing that year too. Another guard who was taking touches from Brunson so it's not just Luka's fault Brunson didn't blossom

Luka is just a big kid that loves to play the game and loves to win. Kyrie respects that because it’s all about the game. Kyrie is older and mature now and Dallas and Luka was the perfect fit even if it took a little bit to figure out. Imagine what they are going to look like next year with a full year of this roster together. These playoffs are providing so much experience to this group.

Yall haven’t even seen it yet. At the end of the reg season Luka was cooking teams in the first half and Kyrie would dagger them in the second half almost every game when they went 16-2 to end the season with both on the court . If Luka can start hitting his 3 in this next series it’s gonna be Mavs in 6 at most

here's another fun fact luka and ky in the clips vs mavs series in the 4th quarter alone (this is all games combined not averages): 96pts on 50%fg and 50% 3pt%. With a +/- of +55, Paul George and Harden in the same 6 games combined in the 4th quarter for : 55pts 40% fg%, sub 30% from deep and a whopping +/- of - 51. These are real stats. It’s irrelevant now, but this was supposed to be Kyrie and LeBron for years and years. Can’t believe he left CLE, even though it was the perfect fit and situation. Who knows what could have been if LeBron and Ky stayed teammates for another 4-6 seasons after 2017. Luckily, the Luka-Kyrie dynamic is pretty much identical, and they are special as a duo.

The Mavs look fantastic, and that’s even with Luka being historically ice cold compared to his normal %s. If you gave him his 2024 regular season shooting splits for this first playoff round, he would’ve been just under a 40p, 10r, 10a average for the series lol. Hopefully the slump ends very soon and that’s exactly what happens.
